Leonora POV

My eyes slowly open, but I instantly close them when a beam of light blinds me, making me groan. A headache forming in between my brows. I shift slightly wincing when I feel the strain in my muscles and bones against the soft material beneath me. Wait... soft?

I open my eyes and glance down to see my body covered in a giant thick cloth that wraps around my entire body, delivering a pleasant warmth to my body. I've never felt so warm in my life. It's lovely. The pain worsens as I move my head to the side. I notice my head is also resting on something nice and fluffy. Is this how it feels to be lying on clouds? I like it.

I lift my weak body up with my shaky arms, my back laying on the back of whatever this comfy warm object is. I could remain here forever. Looking around the room, I find it's rather large. The walls and floors are a nice cream colour, as I observe the odd specks of colour which are hung up on the walls. Random objects hung on the walls throughout the room contributing to the ambiance. Light enters the room through a window, casting charming subtle colours on the walls.

I fling my legs over the edge and stand on wobbly legs, pushing the heavy fabric off of my body, noticing I'm wearing some new baggy clothing that is soft and comfy. I wince when one of my legs comes in contact with the floor, my right leg completely swollen.

When I look down at my legs and arms, I realize that they are wrapped in another white cloth, this one much thinner, and it feels wonderful against my wounds. Looking around the room again, I hold onto the cupboards to help me to stand up, my eyes attracted by a certain object. It was beautiful, like those huge green things I saw yesterday, but smaller and with more colours.

I smile, moving aside, and moving my gaze around the room again before it abruptly lowers. I'm not sure where I am. Or who else could be here with me? Where is giant? I start to panic slightly when I realize I'm in an unfamiliar scenario that I don't welcome. I want giant.

Making my way over to the room's door I open it with unsteady hands, the door opening with a little creak. I peek around the corner and am met with silence. A lengthy dark corridor meets my gaze and appears to continue on forever. Stepping out, I let my feet touch the smooth wood floor, tensing myself in anticipation of someone shouting or beating me for leaving the room. But nothing happened. Nothing except eerie silence.

I keep my hands on the wall to steady me, a whimper making it's way out my through every time I take a step. I look around, perplexed. There is no one in here. This only adds to my anxiety, knowing that someone may appear around the corner at any moment.

I notice several images on one of the walls that pique my curiosity. A vast body of water in the background, with numerous tall males who appear to be enjoying themselves. A baby is wrapped in the older man's arms in the centre of the image, his gaze fixed on the infant, while everyone grins and looks forward.
