Dystychiphobia: - The fear of hurting someone.

Nikolai's POV
"Micah?" I say watching Micah's eyes look towards the floor, thoughts running through his mind. I thought it would be best to tell Micah on his own considering that they're both engaged at the moment.
"She... Adalynn..." I bring him into a hug, hoping it will help to comfort him. Micah's body relaxes against mine, his arms moving to wind round my back. I can feel his body shaking against mine, tears dropping onto my neck.
I don't blame him. He just found out that the love of his life, his fiancé betrayed us. She was the mole all along.
"Who else have you told?" He sniffles, wiping away he tears from his eyes and stepping away from me.
"Other than Remo. Father. He's gone to go tell Armando about what happened. My guess is Remo's gone to tell his brother's." Micah nods, taking in a deep breath helping to calm the tears.
"Is it bad if... if I still hope there's some redemption in her? A reason to why she did what she did?" He asks, meeting my eyes.
"No... Because that's what love does Micah." I say, patting his shoulder in comfort.
"Fuck love. She betrayed him. She betrayed all of us! She's trying to hurt Leonora, Micah! And you still believe there's some good in her?" Ivan shouts
"What have we told you about eavesdropping?" I snarl, crossing my arms over my chest.
"You said that like your the older brother. Your not." He snaps crossing his arms over his chest to intimidate me. I give him a harsh glare before shaking my head. We don't have the time for this now.
"So I suppose the weddings off?" Ivan asks. I whip my head towards him, my eyes promising him that if he doesn't shut up he's going to be six feet under.
Micah chuckles but it's one of those laughs that sounds like tears are about to fall out any moment. I want to help him through this, but I'm not sure what to do. If there is even anything that I can do to help him through this.
"I got the wedding bands yesterday." A sigh leaving his chest.
"They're in the draw upstairs. I even got them engraved." My heart clenches in pain, hearing those words leave my oldest brother's mouth.
"Boys." Armando said coming into the room, my father following after him.
"Well done Nikolai for finding the mole, you've all saved us from something that could have greatly escalated. And... I'm sorry Micah for what you must be going through."
"I just don't understand." My father said, coming to stand at Armando's side.
"Adalynn has always been a family friend. She's always been a good kind girl. This doesn't make any sense." He says, sadness also lacing his tone. This is a loss to all of us I guess. We've known Adalynn for years and he's right. Adalynn has always helped our family when we needed it the most. She'd babysit Alexei, help cook for us when we were out doing some work somewhere and mother would either be too sick or tired on a certain day.
