Nikolai POV
It's been a few days since I came here to get Leonora back and it has been heaven to say the least. I've had zero work to do due to my father and my brothers needing to come down for this meeting. They've decided to move here temporarily until we get all of this business sorted out. It will be easier to communicate and keep each other safe the closer we are.
And so now I'm currently sitting outside staring out at the water, whilst I wait for Leonora to get ready. Were technically supposed to be sleeping in separate rooms ever since Leonora's brothers found us together, but we haven't. Leonora just keeps sneaking on in at god knows what hour in the morning, and I'm not complaining. Her brother's don't stop her anymore either, obviously knowing better. Good they should.
Anyway she practically shoved me out of the door earlier after being a little too shy for my liking. She shouldn't be shy she's gorgeous. What does she have to be shy about?
"Nikolai." Alessandro says from behind me. I tear my eyes away from the water looking towards where he standing outside of the large glass double doors and windows.
"I just came to warn you, I know my other brothers and they won't tell you shit." Alessandro says moving forwards out of the door.
A frown makes it's way onto my face. What warning?
"Oh it's nothing bad you need to worry about. Or maybe you do I don't know." He continues before sitting down on one of the chairs.
"So it's Leonora's birthday next week, and we were going to try and plan something."
My eyes widen hearing this. They're only telling me this now?! I mean what do I get her? What if she doesn't like what I get her? What if I just end up embarrassing myself in front of literally everyone.
"Yeah that's exactly how I thought you'd react. You don't need to worry, Leonora pretty much is grateful for anything you give her. That's what makes her so pure." Alessandro said chuckling at my expression.
Pure. That she is.
Yes Alessandro and I are... well we're on speaking terms. We talk now... without glaring... and shouting... and sending each the look.
"One. Your only fucking telling me this now? And two. What are we planning?" I snap back sitting up in my chair slightly, my hands digging into the arms of the chair.
"Well we were just going to throw a party here I think. Invite the rest of our family round. They technically don't know about Leonora yet, but we usually get together on her birthday anyway as a way to... remember her." Alessandro said his smile dropping. That must of been hard, years going by thinking she's dead.
