Leonora POV

As Nikolai held me in his arms guiding me towards the door, my heart raced with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. I had spent my entire life locked away, shielded from the outside world, and the unknown was both exhilarating and overwhelming.

As the door swung open, a rush of fresh air caressed my face, carrying with it a symphony of new scents and sounds. I stretched my neck out from the blanket Nikolai put over me, and my eyes widened in awe as I beheld the vastness of the world beyond those confining walls.

The vibrant hues of nature unfolded before me, painting a breath-taking panorama that seemed to stretch infinitely. The gentle breeze danced through my hair, whispering secrets of distant lands, and the warmth of the sunlight enveloped me like a tender embrace. Every blade of grass, every chirping bird, and every fluttering leaf held an enchantment I had only dreamt of. In that moment, my soul stirred with an indescribable longing and wonder, as if I had finally found my place amidst the grand tapestry of existence.

As Nikolai ventured further into the garden, a kaleidoscope of colours unfolded before my eyes. Each step he took revealed a new blossom, a new hue, and a new enchantment.

Delicate petals painted in vibrant colours swayed gracefully in the breeze, their fragrant scents filling the air. I marvelled at the intricacies of each flower, their unique shapes and patterns, as if they were nature's masterpieces crafted just for me. The gentle murmurs of these weird high chirps echoed in the background, their presence a testament to the vitality of this hidden realm.

It was as if time stood still, and I found solace in this breath-taking sanctuary. In that moment, the world outside became an extraordinary tapestry of life and beauty, and I knew that I had been given a precious gift—the chance to witness the wonders of nature's paintbrush and be forever captivated by its boundless palette.

Nikolai placed me down gently on a soft blanket which lay on the floor. My hands coming out to touch the stringy texture of the grass. My hands move up tracing the intricate pattern of the flowers next to me.

"Micah put me down!" I hear Adalynn scream. I try not to flinch at the loud voice, instead choosing to turn my head to see what's going on. Micah is carrying Adalynn over to us, just like how Nikolai held me earlier.

"I'm just making sure you don't get mud on your feet." He wines plopping her down on the blanket opposite me.

"I could have just walked on the stone path." She said, pointing at the grey stone path, which is not even that far from where we're currently sitting.

"Your point?" Micah said, placing his lips quickly on Adalynn's before moving away. My eyes widen looking away. What was that?

"Do you guys ever stop arguing? Your getting married for gods sake." Nikolai jumps in, fixing the blanket which has seemed to fallen off my shoulder.
