Shanaya's POV:
Art was one of my favourite subjects. I could truelly let my moods out in this lesson. And that was what I enjoyed most about it. We were allowed to do whatever piece of art we liked. And I always based mine on my moods. That way, I could feel truelly committed to my piece.
Art went weirdly. The second I stepped in, people looked at me. They knew and they had saw us. I smiled shyly as I took my seat, in the middle of the art room. Jess sat next to me in my art class.
'So... what was that?' She questioned eargerly.
'What was what?' I asked, acting dum.
'Don't say that. You know exactly what I'm talking about. What's between you and the Beckham boy?' She said.
'Yeah that... can I tell you at lunch. So that way, the other two can hear and I won't have to repeat myself?' I replied weakly.
Jess gave me the glare but nodded. I sighed a relief. At least this could wait till lunch.
Art went by fast, way too fast for my liking. And soon it was lunch.
Jess and I walked into the canteen, and all eyes turned to fixed us. Or more especially, me. I ignored it, nervousness creeping up on me. I hated extra attention, it scared me. I didn't mind the media, because I was used to them. But when it came to other people, I freaked out.
I pulled Jess into the lunch line. We bought our food and went over to our usual table, the far left corner. Alice and Katie were already sitting there, only just about to start eating. As soon as we had sat down, all three of their heads had snapped round to look at me.
'What?' I said. Did I have something on my face? I couldn't feel anything.
'So what's the deal with you and Brooks?' Alice and Katie said at the same time.
I looked at them astonished. 'How'd you guys know about this? This only happened last lesson.'
'Oh come on Shanaya. You're fricking popular and so is Brooklyn. Put the two of you together and this news was bound to spread like fire.' Alice said, as if it wasbthe dummest and simplest thing in the world to understand. I gave her a confused look.
'People have been shipping you two since the day you walked into college woth him by your side. You make the hottest of the couples!' Katie said. I blushed. Seriously, people had seen us together since the beginning. Wow.
The girls laughed at my reaction but immediately quietened down as if they had seen a ghost behind me. I looked over my shoulder to see a very mad Chloé. She stomped over towards me, face red with anger.
Today, she was wearing a black crop top with short white shorts. Her heels were gigantic, making her look like a giant. I towered over me. But I didn't feel intimidated, instead I was amused. I gave have her a smug grin.
'So you must've heard.' I said, amused at her reaction.
'You bet I've heard. Didn't I say not to get close to Brooklyn?' She spat angrily.
'No. In fact you didn't. You've never said anything like that to me Chloé. I'm guessing you have very bad memory or a habit of making up stuff that's never happened. And plus, even if you did, why would I listen to you? You have no control over me Chloé, get that into your little slutty brain of yours. I will not follow your fucked up orders.' I snapped back. I was now out of my seat and standing up against her. She was naturally shorter than me. But with the heels, she was the same height as me.
She looked shocked at my reaction before speaking up again. 'Well, if I haven't said it before, then I'll say it now.'
'Go on then, it's better late than never.' I smirked.
'STAY AWAY FROM BROOKLYN. HE'S MINE.' she said, looking deadly into my eyes.
'No, I think you're a bit too late for that. And even if it wasn't, I still would never listen to your crap orders. No one, I mean no one, orders me around. So take your stupid little ass and go fuck off somewhere where I won't be able to see you. I don't listen to bitches like you.' I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
She stood there, frozen to the spot.
'Do O have to repeat myself Chloé or do you want me to embrass you further. Cause trust me, if I get started again, we could be here for quite a while.' I said, amusingly. My friends sniggered from behind me. Chloé's face turned pink from embrassment and then she turned abruptly on her heel and left the canteen, oh so dramatically. As soon as she had left, the crowd had erupted into laughter, clapping and cheering for me. I bowed, laughing with my friends. As soon as I had sobered down, I looked around the canteen to spot Brooklyn making his way over to us. His face played a confused look on it as he looked around at the cateen, to the people cheering and clapping for me.
'I'm guessing you stood up against Chloé again?' He said, as soon as he had got to me. I laughed and nodded my head.
'Damn, I missed it again. Do any of your friends here have it videoed so I can watch it. I love catfights between those two.' He chuckled. Alice nodded and handed him her phone. He watched the video that Alice had somehow recorded. He laughed so many times during the whole thing. I just stood next to him, smiling and giggling as I watched him laugh as I created a scene on Alice's phone.
Once he had finished watching the video, he handed the phone back to Alice, still shaking with laughter.
'So this time, you fought with her over me? I feel so special.' He said, putting a hand over his heart and fake wiping tears of happiness.
'No you idiot. I fought with her because I hate that bitch and she gets on my nerves. And also because she tried to boss me around like as if I were her bloody slave. Does she not know that slavery was abolished world wide in the 19th century. She was acting agaibst the law!' I exclaimed. My friends and Brooklyn burst out in laughter, hugging their stomach as they laughed. I smiled at the fact that I had made them laugh.
'Stop... stop... making... me laugh... so much. It hurts!' Jess said, laughing throughout saying her sentence. I laughed at her reaction.
'So you guys going out?' Katie said, once she had sobered.
I looked at her. I didn't know the answer so I left it to Brooklyn to answer.
'Yeah we are.' He said.
I looked at him astonished, 'You haven't asked me to a date yet. How'd you think I'll go on a date with you if you haven't fricking asked me yet?! And also, how do you even know that I'll even say yes?' I looked at him as I spoke. He gave me a smirk in return.
'Oh trust me baby doll, you'll say yes.' He said, confidently.
'And what if I don't? ' I fired back.
'Then I'll make sure you do.'
'How can you change my mind when it's already decided?'
'Prepared to be wooed princess.' He said.
'Wooed? What the fuck Brooklyn? Can't you just be a normal guy and ask me out, like a normal person?'
'There's no fun in that. And plus, I wouldn't classify my amazingly sexy looks and personality as normal.'
'Yeah you're right. They would be classified as abnormal, and so would you.'
'No, I would classify them as rare and unique. And hey, I'm not dumb or abnormal!' He said, acting hurt.
'Sure you aren't.' I said sarcastically. He glared at me. I turned to my friends, who I'd forgotten while having a mini fun arguement with Brooklyn. They were all staring at Brooklyn and I, with shocked and amused eyes.
'What?' I said, catching their attention.
'We soo ship you two together!' They said, all at the same time. Brooklyn burst out laughing as I turned into a tomato.
Great Shanaya. Prepared to be wooed by the great Brooklyn Beckham.
