Shanaya's POV :

My alarm startled me awake. Great, Monday. Meaning college.

Someone please shoot me.

I crawled out of bed, heading for my ensuite. I brushed my teeth and had a quick shower, wanting to get rid of my fatigue.

I grabbed the closest clothes in my wardrobe. November was fast approaching, meaning colder weather. Yet, I still decided to wear a dress.

What the hell is wrong with me.

I grabbed my dress, matching jacket, jewellery, and shoes. I put them on and did my hair. I put it in a messy high bun, with a few curly strands comint out. I did my make-up, 2 layers of mascara, eye liner and baby pink lip gloss.

Once I was done, I put my shoes on and grabbed my bag, heading downstairs. My brother was sitting at the table, drinking coffee.

He was leaving in a few days, to go back to his filming school. I was going to miss him.

I grabbed a muffin off of the table and started to eat it. But I didn't get far before I heard the honk of a car. I smiled.

Brooklyn was here.

I kissed my brother goodbye and skipped my way to the door.

I slipped into his car and he drove us to school. He was unusually silent.

'Brooklyn, what's wrong? You're quiet.' I said, looking at him. His eyes were fixed on the road.

'Nothing.' He stated.

'No. Don't say that. I know something's wrong. Tell me.'

'Fine. I read some articles online that you met a guy last night.' He said.

'Yeah I did. What's wrong with that?' I was so confused. What was wrong with me meeting Rohan.

'There were pictures of you two laughing and stuff.' He said.

And then it clicked.

'Mr Beckham, are you jealous?' I asked, teasingly. His face stiffened.

'Jealous? And me? Pfff, no?! Why would I be jealous? I mean, I saw the guys face, he hasn't got one.' He lied.

'Oh yeah... then how'd you see it?' I was so close to laughing out loud. A jealous Brooklyn was one hilarious yet an adorable sight.

'Errr... what I'm saying is that he wasn't even decent looking.'

'No. He was cute. He looks like a cute nerd but he's the complete opposite. He has a good sence of humour and is really adorable when he's embrassed. And he blushes! OMG, when he blushes he-' I was interrupted by Brooklyn speaking.

'I don't care what the piece of shit looks or is like. I just don't want to be near him or YOU.' He said, finally taking his eyes off the road to briefly look me in the eye.

I smirked. 'Brooklyn, don't be jealous. I think of him as a friend and only a friend. More like a brother or a cousin. Not the way you think. But as far as his feelings are concerned, I have no idea what he thinks of me.' Brooklyn sighed in relief at my comments.

'Well at least I know you won't leave me.'

'Awwww, Brooks, I would never leave you. I just like to tease you, that's all. You look adorable when you're jealous.' I said, pinching his cheeks.

'I was not jealous.'

'Whatever helps you sleep at night Brooky boy!'

'And I do not look adorable. Guys do not look adorable and I'm a guy.'

'You sure about that?' He glares at me, making my giggle.

'Ha ha very funny Shayana.' He said.

'What was that you said? You read articles on me? Brooklyn, are you stalking me online?' I said, tapping my finger against my chin.

He scoffed, 'What? No! I was on Daily Mail and there was an article of you on the side, so I clicked on it. That's all.'

'Sure.'

We ended our conversation as we entered the college gates.

Ugh, another day of this shit. Good luck to me!
