Shanaya's outfit for the day.

Shanaya's POV :

'Wake up Shanaya!' someone yelled into my ear on Sunday morning. I turned in my bed, wacking whoever it was somewhere and falling back to sleep.

All of sudden, the covers were ripped off my body, exposing it to the cold. I bought my legs up and rolled into a ball, trying to keep my body heat.

'Aww... she looks so cute... too bad.' A deep voice said. I was picked up by someone and then dropped back on my bed with a thud.

Now that woke me up.

'What the fuck is wrong with you guys?' I screamed, rubbing my eyes. I stared at my friends' faces, who were looking at me sheepishly. Brooklyn however, was smirking.

'Get up, we're going to have breakfast and go out.' Brooklyn said. I groaned and patted my hair down.

I probably looked like a bird's nest.

I grumpily walked to my ensuite and washed myself. I brushed my teeth and washed my face to get rid of the sleep. I put on something warm and cozy, it was getting so cold.

I slipped on my blue jeggings, batman t-shirt, black and white jacket and grey high tops. A black hat was placed on my head and I had my blue bag to accompany me. My hair was side plaited loosely, with several strands coming out of it. I didn't bother with makeup, I really couldn't be bothered.

Loads of people have seen me without makeup, there's no big deal.

I walked out of my ensuite and downstairs. All my friends were sitting on my dining table, stuffing their mouths with food.

I'm guessing the chef had to make a lot of food.

I sat down and gobbled down my toast and my drank my coffee.

'Let's go!' Alex cheered. I rolled my eyes at his enthusiasm.

It's like ten in the morning on a Sunday. Who would be happy?

We all trudged out of my house and into our cars. Sophie, Jess and Katie decided to jump into my car.

Alice bagged the passenger seat and decided to fiddle with my radio. 'You don't know you're beautiful' by One Direction started blasting out of my speakers. Us all being Directioners, we started to sing along with the song that was now playing out on full volume. People were staring at us like 'what the fuck is wrong with you?'.

Well, we do live in a free country?

'Shanaya, you have an amazing voice.' Alice said. I just shrugged.

'Meh.' I said.

We arrived at the local store, Morrissons. We all stepped out and grabbed a trolley in pairs.

'Guys, we're gonna have a trolley race.' Sophie said.

'Whoever can finish their grocery list first and pay, wins.' Alice said, handing out a list of groceries.

We all nodded excitedly.

We all found a pair. I was paired with Brooklyn.

'You ready?' He asked.

'I was borm ready.' I said proudly. He raised an eyebrow, amused. I smiled and grabbed the trolley.

'Ready... set... go!' We all dived into the store.

Brooklyn and I started our shopping list, me reading out the list and Brooklyn picking up the food.

'Shanaya, stop! You're useless at this.' Brooklyn moaned.

'Well it's not my fault you're making me shop at such a fast speed! I always shop slowly, making sure I bought the right stuff!' I exclaimed.

Brooklyn ran his hand through his hair. He stopped when he came up with an idea. Instead of telling me it, he picked me up and plonked me into the shopping trolley.

'Brooklyn, what the fuck?!' I exclaimed.

'Well, we need to finish quickly. Now start reading out the list, we have a game to win.' He said. I grumbled and started reading out the list.

He was driving too fast. I nearlly ended up crashing a few times. He let go of the trolley once, to pick up the food, leaving me hurtling towards a huge stack of baked beans.

'Brooklyn!' I screamed. I couldn't get out of the trolley, my ass was stuck in it. I couldn't stop it either.

I covered my face with my hands, wanting no damage done to it. I was only a metre away from the stack when the trolley stopped moving. I sighed with relief and turned around. Brooklyn was standing there with his hands round the bar of the trolley, grinning down at me.

'You asshole, you nearly made me crash into the stack of beans!' I screeched.

All I got as a reponce was a peck on the lips. I glared back up at Brooklyn, who was ignoring my glare, obviously amused.

We continued shopping and finished within the next 5 minutes. As soon as we got to the counter, Brooklyn pulled me out of the trolley and back onto my feet. We quickly checked out and ran out of the store.

We sighed a relief when we saw no one outside. Seconds after we came out, the doors opened to reveal Owen and Oscar. The two were paired together.

'Ha! We beat you!' I sneered at them.

They groaned whilst I laughed.

They do say I am a competitive one. I guess it is true.

We waited outside the store for a bit longer, the gang slowly appearing from inside Morrissons. We put the groceries away in the cars and then decided to head to the local park.

When we arrived, we all sat down at a bench. We talked about our lives and anything interesting going on in London.

'Guys, I've heard that some girl is hosting a party tonight. Wanna go?' Jess said.

We all nodded.

The boys went back to their houses, to get changed for the party. The girls went on a detour to their houses to grab their outfits and change at mine.

I got home and plonked the groceries on the kitchen counter. I put all the stuff away and then went up to my room.

Well this party should be fun.
