Monday 7:15 am
Kori is almost done getting ready to go to her new school. She was the type to have so much anxiety about big events that she couldn't truly sleep. Though Kori plans to get her hair done soon, a slick back puff will have to do for the day. "Mookie, are you ready?!" Kori's mom shouts. "Yea ma, I'm finishing my edges real quick." Before walking out, Kori puts her best perfume and jewelry on.
"It's 7:30, Kori. You have to walk to school." Kori grabs her bag and rushes outside. Thirty minutes is a lot of time until school starts, but Kori isn't used to walking that far. Let alone where the school is.
Kori enters the school building and immediately feels out of place. Compared to other girls, she is slightly more 'tomboy' than 'pretty girl'. It doesn't help that her big puff is soaking up all of the attention. Kori already has her block schedule, so she spends her time looking for her first block.

The bell rang for 11:30 am, and Kori headed to the cafeteria. She had been lost and overwhelmed the entire morning. Her teachers were strict and expected her to already know what was going on. Kori made her own lunch, and since she was currently a loner, she chose to sit at an abandoned looking table.
"Can we sit here with you?" Kori looked up at two girls. "We saw you were the new girl and thought of introducing ourselves to you." The two sat down anyway before Kori could get a sound out of her mouth. Kori looked at the two hinting to introduce themselves. "I'm Jaya, I have psychology with you but I sit in the back." Jaya was Indian-American who had an S curve shape, tawny skin, with dark hair at the roots that ombre into burgundy. "I'm Aria, Jaya and I have been best friends since middle school." This girl rocked brown curls down her back, dark eyes, yet light-complexioned.
