Korinna's POV

"Yea, we know." Aria deadpanned at me.

"This makes tonight even cuter. Black Cat and the Prowler." Jaya was gushing.

What?! I never told them a thing! I was trying to think back to conversations that I've had and things that I've done. I only gave them enough info for Black Cat, but not Miles!

"Huh, Prowler? I don't know who-" Aria cut me off and stood up.

"Korinna, can you stop? You truly suck at lying. We found out about Miles a long time ago. Why do you think I was pressing why you broke up with him at the party a while back? We were still friends with Ganke and we accidentally saw everything in their apartment. We kept it a secret." Aria explained to me and walked up closer.

"You were easy to figure out. Our tuition was paid for, you got an apartment, you had lots of money, and a new female alias showed up. You have never talked about a job or going to one. Piecing it together wasn't hard. As soon as we saw the Prowler and Black Cat together, we knew for sure." Jaya shrugged her shoulders.

I was sitting there with my mouth agape. "We know your heart. We know that you have a reason for the things you do. We've watched you provide for charities, fund the school, help out your mom. We won't stop you, and we damn sure won't leave you." I was tearing up at their words. I refused to cry. My face was already beat with this makeup look.

I pressed the button on my Iron Cat suit, and it came into fruition. "Omg! This is real!" Jaya gasped and Aria's face was in shock. I retracted my mask. I pulled out the communicator device out of my suit with instructions attached.

"I need you to listen to me. Somethings off tonight. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm handing this communicator to you. If something goes wrong, it'll hopefully beep no matter where I am. I just have a bad omen about tonight. As the Black Cat, I can sense when something is about to go wrong. If it does go off. Head to Ganke. Can I trust you with this?" They looked at me and quickly nodded their heads like a child.

"Bro this is some comic book shit! I'm pumped." Jaya screamed. She was basically bouncing with excitement.

"Well, let's hope nothing happens. Thank you for being honest with us, Korinna. We know it was difficult for you. Let's turn the focus back on your date." Aria fixed my hair and smiled.

I was beaming with joy. These two are the absolute best. They nearly made me forget about my negative emotions.

I sat at the table and bounced my leg with anticipation. Where is he? Miles tends to be late, but it's 8:45 pm now.

"Are you ready to order, ma'am?" The waitress walked up to me. I was looking down at my lap.

"No, can I have 15 more minutes. He'll show up." I didn't sound so sure of myself. The waitress put her hand on my back and rubbed it. I normally hate when strangers touch me, but I needed it.

I pulled out my phone to text Miles for the 1000th time. I even called him. He's not picking up. We said we'd keep our business from our relationship, but I was about to put on my suit to track Miles. I still have my dress on, but I left extra suits in my hideout and his uncle's place. For moments like this, I made extra stealth suits.

The same waitress came back and gave me a pink cupcake to match my dress. "Don't bring yourself down. You look beautiful. He's missing out. This is on the house." I looked at the woman and she smiled at me. I teared up a bit, and took the cupcake.
