Korinna's POV
What the hell is this?
I was stuck in a white void. I looked around at all the spots. These must be wormholes to other dimensions. I pulled up my watch to see if I was able to create a wormhole back to earth-1610B. No luck. I'm just gonna have to go through one of these portals.
Poking my head through, I saw a universe that looked like a regular earth. It was a poorly lit park. It'll do. I just needed space to open my portal. Hopping through the dark matter portal, I landed in the grass.
"Ouch," I landed on my feet but my ankles were sore. I deactivated my suit, since my watch was attached to my stealth suit. After Miguel ruined the first watch, I learned to cover it with my Iron suit. Not wasting any time I lifted my watch and calibrated it to Miles (AM)'s earth.
"kOrInNa!"I heard my name choppy. What was that?! Whipping my head around and saw a black and red gooey looking monster. It had claws, a long tongue, crazed eyes, and razor sharp teeth. It was hesitant to walk towards me. I turned around to go through the portal anyway.
"wAit!" The figure grabbed my wrist with some extended piece of goo. The goo climbed my arm and I screamed in horror, "Get off of me!" Still in my Iron Catsuit, I raised my palm to the goo and got ready to blast it.
"Stop! It's ok!" A man's face popped through the goo-like substance. The man had a dark complexion with long dreads put into a low ponytail. He had light brown eyes and wore a serious expression.
"I won't hurt you! I have control now!" The man continued. Confused as to what he was talking about, I looked down at my watch to see what world I landed in. The portal took me to Earth-891.
Earth-891? Where did I hear that from? It sounded familiar.
"Is that a watch to the Spider Society? Korinna had one too." He said despairingly. He looked down at his claws then back up at me. It started to fall in place for me. The only Korinna was a spider person from this earth. It was his wife that he abused. He ended up killing her with those symbiotes. This isn't looking good for me. He couldn't see my face at all, so how did he know I was Korinna?
"I-I don't know what you're talking about," I tried to sound confident but I trailed off.
"I know who you are. My symbiotes have genetic memory with the DNA of people they've come into contact with." He let go of my wrist. With an expected look, he gestured for me to show my face. "I won't hurt you. I would have already. I've gained full control."
I turned around to walk to the portal. There's no reason to entertain this guy. Or I guess I should say Miles. I'm assuming it's him.
"Whatever you're battling, let me help. I need to redeem myself from killing my wife. Please! I'm nothing but a villain here. It wasn't my choice to do it!" Miles-891 was begging me. I didn't trust him one bit. He looked strong, but I couldn't risk bringing another strong villain to the fight.
