Omniscent POV
The aftermath of the battle field left a scar. It was quiet, but the silence was loud. The ideologies between Miguel and Miles (AM) left heroes split between what's right. Perhaps it's not about what's right or wrong. In reality, life is filled with gray areas.
The silence was broken by the sounds of ambulance sirens. Safety officials started digging through the rubble to find any traces of lost civilians. This included Rio Morales. Her body was picked up and carried onto a stretcher. Unfortunately, the white cloth was placed above her body. Jefferson Morales had no choice but to watch from the distance with his heart broken. In the same sense, Miles (AM) couldn't get too close. He was perched on a building far away from the scene.
Miguel was too prideful to stay back and deal with the repercussions. He only took care of the Spider Men from other universes. He gathered his team and left the scene. "Let's go," He said as confident as he could. There wasn't much confidence since he had to air out his dirty laundry. Miguel was definitely a Spiderman, but he's an anomaly just as much as Miles (AM) is. A hypocrite is what he was. This begs the question of originality. Every universe circulates at the same time. The past, present, and future.
Like Einstein said...Time is Relative. There's still a lot to learn from the multiverse, but for now, the band is done with travel.
"Take care of yourself, Miles (AM). We've all experienced this chapter in our life. It will get better. You have many people to call on if you need." Miles-17217 was trying to reassure Miles (AM). Coming from a man that lost his whole family, he thought he'd be the best one to comfort his younger self.
Miles (AM) was eerily quiet. He had every reason to be. He sat and thought about the events that transpired. How ironic for his mother to die. Even though he was in the wrong universe, he had only told his mother he was Spiderman.
Miles (PM) gripped his doppelgänger's shoulder to comfort him. It was reopening his wound from his own dad's death. Miles (PM) shooed away anyone who wasn't Miles Morales. This left the group of them to hold each other up. They all had a shared understanding of the impact. After a few minutes, they parted ways. Each took time to say their goodbyes to the team they fought with. Going down the line, Korinna was last sitting on what was left of a curb.
"Kori!" Miles-616 reached out to Korinna. She had tear streaks on her face, but stood up anyway. She leaned in for a hug.
"Why are y'all leaving so soon?" Kori spoke near a whisper.
"Now isn't the time to hang out. We all have watches, so this won't be the last time we see each other. There's a lot that needs to be sorted out here, and we have our own universe to tend to." Miles-8 sophisticatedly spoke.
Korinna barely spoke over breath on purpose, "Why'd you marry Gwen?" She side-eyed him in a joking manner.
"Huh?" Miles-8 asked.
"Nothing!" Kori skipped over her statement. She looked over to Miles-891 and he was laughing at her. The group heard her, but they know that's the appeal of Korinna.
The group conversed for a bit before Miles (PM) broke them up. "Hey! Back the hell up off my woman. Acting all thirsty. Don't y'all have somewhere to be?" Miles (PM) grabbed Kori by her waist and dragged her out of the small circle formed around her. "Just straight up feigning on her," He looked the men up and down.
"It's refreshing to see Kori be Kori," Miles-17217 laughed.
"I hope I meet my Kori," Miles-1048 said eagerly.
