"Hey, Lou." I smile brightly, happy to hear her voice again after a long time.
"I've missed you, what's up?" She asks me.
I think I should do this in a much more subtle way and not just bluntly get to the point. So I get an idea, and as always, not a good one. "I've missed you too. So, I was wondering if you'd want to meet up, as soon as possible?" I start.
There's a small silence on the other side of the phone before she replies. "I- uh, of course. Yeah, that sounds good!" She says, and I can almost hear her smile.
"Great!"
"Does tonight sound good?" She suggests.
I think for a bit. I mean, I did promise I'd go to Rissa's tonight. But I do need to see Lou, I have to. I'll go to Rissa after that. "Yes, that's perfect. Does 7pm sound good?"
"7pm it is, sweet girl. I'll pick you up!"
——
I've gotten ready, and Lou's picking me up in 10. I have a black suit on with gold buttons and matching pair of black high heels. I've done my hair perfectly and my makeup's flawless. I feel very confident.
I curse to myself, trying to figure out why on earth did I suggest the meeting at this hour. It's Sunday night. Good job, Y/N.
I leave our dorm, getting a weird, but not surprised look from Yoko, to which I just smile and roll my eyes playfully.
Leaving the school, walking towards the main entrance, I feel a pair of eyes on me and hear faint footsteps in the empty hallway. I turn around, trying to see who it is, only to be met with more of the empty hallway. I frown and shake my head to myself, I'm just overthinking it.
I spot Lou's insane bike near the gates.
"Oh my god! Wow, you really picked me up with your bike?!" I ask, shocked and excited.
"Thought you'd like it." She says, smirking and handing me a helmet.
"Thanks," I say, smiling at her and grabbing the helmet and putting it on.
"Put your hands around my waist." She says as I sit behind her. And I do exactly that, getting that strange feeling of being watched, again. But still, I see no one. And I shrug it off again.
Lou takes my hands and guides them to hold her tighter, my body's pressed against hers. "You ready?" She asks.
"Always!" I say confidently.
She starts the bike, and just hearing the rumble of it makes me shiver in excitement. The noice is so loud that probably everyone at Nevermore heard it.
And she starts driving slowly at first, but gradually starts picking up her speed and soon, we're driving at about 130mph. Even though I trust Lou with all my heart, the rapid speed does make me a bit scared. So I hold onto her tighter, hugging her body and pressing myself as close to her as possible.
At a turning point towards Jericho, she slows down and says loudly;
"Don't worry, princess. You're safe in my hands."
And causes me to blush.
After about 25 minutes, we arrive at her place. We go inside her cozy home and sit down on the couch. "Wine?" She offers.
I shake my head no. "It's Sunday night, I don't think I can." I say, earning an understanding nod from the older blonde.
"So, why did you want to meet me?" She asks while I fiddle with my fingers, trying to think of how I can say the next thing.
