"Finally home," I sigh as I thump down on the bed. Larissa chuckles and jumps beside me on the bed, wrapping her arms around me tightly.

We lay there for a while, before agreeing to go to dinner at the cafeteria. She gets up and redoes her lipstick, and as usual, I stand there and watch her in complete awe and adoration.

"What?" She giggles.

I shake my head, "Nothing! You're just so pretty."

A faint red develops on her cheeks and she looks away from me, clearly flustered. I take her hand and she turns back to face me, cupping my cheeks and kissing my forehead. She pulls back and smiles, kissing the tip of my nose, the outer corners of my eyes, my cheekbones and the apples of my cheek, my jaw, my chin and lastly, my lips.

And I'm completely sent into that swooning headspace, almost not noticing how she's giggling to herself, reaching for her phone on the vanity.

"What are you doing?" I ask her.

"Just stay still and look cute," She says, pointing her camera at me and snapping like ten photos of me.

After taking the photos, she pulls away slightly to look at her gallery proudly. Then, she starts typing something and doesn't let me see what it is, to which I just roll my eyes and turn around, about to walk away. But she grabs my wrist and  turns me back around, smashing her lips against mine. I yelp in surprise, laughing slightly, "Rissa, what's up?"

She smiles and shows me her phone. I blush burning red and my breath hitches in my throat as I look at her lockscreen. She put my picture on it. "Aww, Rissa, really?" I smile brightly up at her.

She just smiles wider, nodding and tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. "Even if I'm not with you, I want to see how pretty you are." She says, pecking my forehead.

I gasp in shock and just pure love, grabbing her face and pulling her to kiss me tenderly. "Oh, you have no idea how much I love you, Larissa Weems."

"There you are. Where were you all weekend?" Wednesday asks as I'm walking down the hallway.

"Just, hanging out with friends from Jericho." I say nonchalantly.

She nods and joins to walk beside me, walking to the library. "Y/N, I did some research over the weekend, and I found out something intriguing concerning the monster."

I snap my head to look at her, "Pray tell."

She looks around to make sure that no one is around to eavesdrop, before turning back and saying in a low tone, "The monster is a Hyde. Do you know what that is?"

I frown and shake my head no.

"A Hyde is a monster that is born, but that doesn't necessarily mean the person will become a Hyde in their lifetime. It has to be unlocked or unleashed, most commonly from a traumatic event." She explains in a hushed tone, and I just nod and try to keep up with everything she's saying.

"Additionally, a Hyde is ruled by a master, someone that helps the monster come to the service and is able to control it."

"So, the beast roaming about and committing murders is being controlled by someone else?" I ask.

"Yes, and it's likely the person doesn't even know they are the monster."

"That's horrible. So now we know that there's two of them, the monster and the master?" I repeat and try to understand everything.

"Exactly."

Before we can continue our conversation, someone is calling my name and interrupting it. "Y/N!! Hi, long time no see, right?" Sophia comes up to me, embracing me tightly.
