Two weeks later, I feel like I'm on cloud nine. Larissa bought me a ring, which so gorgeously shines on the matching chain wrapped around my neck. We agreed that I shouldn't be wearing my ring just yet, since that would raise suspicion. And I completely think it's better this way.

These past weeks I've spent more time with Larissa than ever before. It's like we can't keep our hands off each other. And wouldn't want it any other way, to be honest. She's the love of my life, I'm sure. I've never been happier.

I've basically moved back in her quarters, as I've been spending all my nights there lately. Completely enaumored with thoughts about her and her only, maybe the conversation that happens after school on Friday grounds me a bit. Brings me down from the non-stop euphoria I've been hooked in.

Walking out of botany class, I make my way up to my dorm to quickly change and leave my books there before heading downstairs again to see Larissa. I do my secret knock to ensure she's okay with me arriving this early, and soon enough I hear her telling me to enter. I just couldn't stay away from her any longer.

Sometimes I think it's concerning how attached to her I am, but at the same time, I don't care about that. All I care about is our relationship and our relationship only.

"Good afternoon, darling. Arriving so soon?" Larissa purs as I step inside, locking the door behind me.

I grin playfully at her, "You know I couldn't stay away from you for any longer, Rissa."

At that, she chuckles, amused. My brows furrow, "What, is there something wrong with wanting to spend time with my fiancée?" I ask, accentuating the newfound term I still can't believe I get to use.

She smiles, gesturing with her hand to come closer. And I do, only stopping when she turns around in her chair to face me, pulling me even closer by my hips, my legs finding place between hers. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, dear." She murmurs, eyeing my body up and down with the look. Yes, exactly the one where she looks like she could devour me, eat me whole, the second she'd get the chance.

She pulls me up to her lap, smashing her lips against mine and squeezing my hips almost possessively, attempting to claim my whole being. (And I certainly do not mind.)

Her tongue makes its way into my mouth, exploring every detail of it like there's no tomorrow. A needy whine crawls up my throat, and it comes out as a high-pitched moan, straight in her mouth. She groans in satisfaction, her other hand traveling up my back and to my neck, taking a tight grip of my hair in her fist to make sure I keep in place for her. The action makes me buck my hips into her, signaling I need more.

Just as things are getting even more heated when her other hand begins fiddling with the buttons of my jeans, a loud knock is heard on the door, causing me to flinch harshly and pull away as if I'd been burned. Larissa looks at me with wide eyes before standing up to her fullest height, looking around for a fraction of a second, thinking of what to do.

"Quick, go there." She pushes me towards the doors to her quarters, and I quickly slip inside just as Larissa makes her way to open the door. Something makes me stay there for just a moment longer, not fully closing the door behind me. And from this angle, I can see who's entering.

I frown as I see Sophia, looking rather stressed. I haven't seen that girl in ages, just once or twice in the backrow of botany class. I still can't decide if there's something shady about her, but it's definitely weird.

Larissa looks puzzled for a second, making her way back to her seat and gesturing for Sophia to sit down. The brown-haired girl shakes her head no, cracking her knuckles as she looks around. Nervous habit. Why on earth is she nervous?
