What is happening?
"Are you alright?" a voice echoed, but I was trying to process everything happening. I quickly zoned back and got on my two feet. I wanted to be in his arms for like...FOREVER.
"What?"
"Are you alright?" he repeated.
"Yeah, I am...am so sorry...I just tripped and...am sure am quite heavy" Why did I say that? ugh! I was so mad at Tasha, but I also wanted to hug her.
He chuckled, "Don't worry, just be careful" He smiled.
Gosh! That smile
I turned around before he could see my face turn hot red. I grabbed Tasha by her hand. The whole time, she just stood there giggling.
"Ashley" Levi called out. My name sounded so hot coming from him. It made my heart flutter. I turned to face him. "The time for the conference has been changed. Be there at 2:00 pm instead"
All I could do was nod.

Tasha and I went to the washroom. We started jumping in circles like children. We squealed in excitement.
"Oh my gosh... it was like I was in a fairytale. Better yet, a movie"
"Yeah, you were like: Oh my God, am falling, someone save me and he was like: Don't panic, am here to save you and he swooped you in his arms and you stared into each other's eyes. Then you were like: Oh my prince charming, just kiss me already and he kissed you and you lived happily ever after. The end" I laughed so hard. Tasha was obsessed with fairytales when we were kids and her enthusiasm was something I loved about her.
"Girl, what?" we laughed so much, and then reality dawned upon me. I started pinching her.
"Ouch! Stop it..why are you pinching me? Is it green day? You aren't in green either so what's your deal?"
"What if I didn't fall in his arms and I fell on my butt? That could have been bad"
"Look on the bright side, you did fall in his arms" Yeah I did, but the thought of how bad it could have been was running through my mind.
"Let's get to class now, both of us met our lucky charms today so nothing can ruin our moods, hmm?"
"Mhmmm," I said with an assuring tone.
AT THE STUDENT'S CONFERENCE
"Have fun Tash, I can't wait for all the gist" I giggled. She was going to meet her you know who and she couldn't stop blushing.
We did our handshake and said goodbye.
My legs were wobbly as I entered the conference room. I saw Levi and our eyes met.

I lost my balance and hit a chair. Why did I always have to embarrass myself in front of him? I hurriedly sat.
"Umm...Ashley, this seat's taken"
"Sorry," I said quietly.
The only empty seat was the one next to Levi. Was this fate or? I just hope to not make a fool out of myself. Fingers crossed.
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?"
"No, you can sit," he said and smiled warmly.
I could feel my cheeks turning red.
Control yourself, Ashley
I sat down. Soon everyone was settled and we proceeded. Levi got up and started presenting something, but I couldn't concentrate. I just stared at his face admiring his features. He was gorgeous.
He had this manly voice and sometimes I would just imagine him making breakfast and when I walk into the kitchen, he's like: Good morning, baby like how it is on TikTok.
"Ashley, what do you think? Ashley? Ashley?"
Earth to Ashley. Stop staring
"What?" I was so lost. I hadn't been listening and now I had to answer something.
Oh God, I was so embarrassed. I wished the ground would open up and swallow me.
He gave me a weird look and repeated himself, "What are your thoughts on joining the final year with your year for prom?"
" That would be great. We can even get a theme for it" I had no idea about what I was saying. I felt his gaze all over me. I wondered if he even blinked, but I dared not look at his face. My heart was racing so fast.
"That's a great idea," a girl said. His gaze moved to her and I could finally breathe.
"Alright, that's all for today, see you guys next week" Levi wrapped up.
I was so glad it ended. I packed my stuff and got up to leave and then he called me.

"Yes Levi"
"Do you have any question concerning this idea?"
"Well...yeah, If both years join for prom, does it mean my year wouldn't have prom?"
"I'm not certain about that" he said. His gaze was directly on me.
"Why are we even joining?, I know I said that it is a great idea, but why tho?"
"Next week, we're gonna talk about it" I could tell he had no answer.
Just then, my books fell from my hands and I bent to pick them up. He did same and our hands touched. He looked directly into my eyes. I broke the silence.
"I..I'm gonna go now," I said and hurriedly left before he could say anything else.
He was driving me insane. He clearly shows he's not interested in dating and stuff, but then sometimes he gives me hope that he does like girls. What is his deal? ugh!
My driver arrived and I went home. I took a cool bubble bath and put on a grey hoodie and black shorts. I jumped on my bed and screamed in my pillow. I heard my cat meowing.
Oh Lex, I am so confused. Do you think he will ever like any girl? What if he got heartbroken from his first love? Nah, I wanna be his first love. Am I out of his league? We he ever like me? She just meowed. I'm gonna take that as a yes. I love you Lex, come here. I patted her...
