"Are we gonna be here all day?" Tash asked.
"What else can we do?"
"We need a miracle, something should just pop up" She whined. Her phone buzzed and a smile crawled up her face.
"Yeah! We just got invited to Becca's pool party"
"A miracle did happen. When are we going?"
"Girl, right now"
"Now?"
"Yeah, get dressed. Am gonna borrow some clothes from you" she giggled.
"Yeah, sure"
"We need something that will let everyone stop what they're doing and look at us"
"You mean like something that will make an entrance?"
"Exactly" She chose a white long-sleeved crop top and blue shorts for me and she chose a beige top with black shorts for herself.
"We are wearing sneakers" I argued.
"Huh, fine" she finally agreed

"We look hot," Tasha said. She just couldn't stop looking at herself.
"Let's go, Tash"
"Hold up, this is called self-love babes. Like I look adorbs" She said and squealed.
I just laughed at her. We did a little makeup.
And we went.
Tasha was right, we did make an entrance. If we weren't popular girls, there was no way we would ever get invited to hang out with seniors.
"Hey guys, you look gorgeous. I love the outfits" Becca said.
"Thanks," we said in unison.
"I got your text, Tasha, your bikinis are in the room on the left. Change into them and come join the fun" she said and smiled.
"Tash, I don't wanna swim" I argued. I thought I made it clear to her when we were home, but of course, Tasha will always be Tasha.
"Please Ash, just this once" she pouted
"Fine, just stop doing that"
"Yesss!" she jumped and clapped her hands.
We changed and took mirror pics before we headed out.
I don't know why, but I was looking around to see if Levi was here. What are you doing Ashley, he's a jerk remember? You hate him.

"If you're looking for Levi, he's not here" Bev snuck behind me and said.
"I wasn't looking for him" I lied.
"Yeah...and am supposed to believe that." He chuckled.
"Not that I care, but where is he by the way?" I asked acting unconcerned.
"That dude is such a nerd, he's learning for the finals next week"
"Are you not supposed to be doing the same?"
"No way...that's not fun. You guys are cut out for each other. You look hot, but you're not mine to devour." He saw some girls and said, "My chicks have arrived, see you later"

Before I knew it, Ashley held my hand and pulled me into the pool.
"Ashley, wt..."
"Let's have fun, loosen up a bit," she said and splashed water on me.
Just loosen up.

It was soon dark and we got out of the pool to have some food.
"So girls, I would like to introduce you to my big bro, Raphael," she said and called him. When Tash and I saw him, our mouths dropped. He was freaking Raphael, Tasha's boyfriend.
"Raphael?" Tasha questioned "What are you doing here? you told me you had no siblings"
"Look, Tasha, I can explain"
"Wait, you two know each other? You told her you had no siblings? Are you ashamed of me?" Becca said and she kept raising her tone as she spoke.
"Becca, we'll talk later. Tasha, can we go somewhere and talk?"
She looked at me and I gave her a sign to go.
"Do you know what is going on?" Becca turned to me.
"Your brother will tell you everything"
I was so hungry so I just started eating. "Mmmm, this is so good"
She gave me death stares and left. I just hoped Tasha and Raphael would work things out. At least, one of us should be in a healthy relationship.
I sighed.
