I couldn't help eavesdropping. There was just something off about him.
I knew his last words made her feel so tense.
As he came out, he glared at me with nothing other than hatred.
And he left.
I went in to find Ashley standing in shock.
His last words got to her.
I put my hands around her waist from behind.
"Hey, don't worry about him," I said trying to get her mind off it.
"I just feel bad, Levi," She said with a sad tone.
I turned her around to face me and I put my hands on her face, "Baby, I understand how you feel, but you never loved him. He knew that. Just don't worry, you've got me now and I swear I'm never letting you go" I said to her and she hugged me.
I placed a kiss on her forehead and we left the study.
Finally, I had her all to myself.
She was mine now. I could hold her tight, kiss her, cuddle, and just have her all to myself.
Ashley just drove me insane.
Her body, scent, smile, and everything about her drove me insane.
I was not going to make another mistake.
She was my world, my other half, and losing her will be the thing I'll regret the most in my life.
She is just too precious.

"Hey, I gotta go now. I have to meet up with Tash" She said.
"No, please don't go, baby," I said holding her tight.
We snuggled up on the couch.
"Stop being silly" She laughed.
"I don't want you to go"
"Gosh, you look so cute like this," She said and kissed my cheek.
"I want another one," I said pointing to my lips.
"If you don't let me go, there'll be no more kisses"
"You can't do that," I said kissing her neck.
"Yes, I can. Now I've gotta go"
"Fine, but I'll pick you up tomorrow. We're going out" I said to her.
"Ooo, to where?"
"It's a surprise"
"What's up with you guys and surprises?" She asked pouting.
"You'll love it, Ash," I said.
"Ok, fine. I'm gonna go"
I held her hand and pulled her towards me.
She landed on my lap.
"Where are you going to? You forgot something"
"What?" She asked. I knew she knew what I meant.
"Don't pretend to be clueless, baby. Daddy doesn't like that" I said caressing her.
"fine," she said and playfully rolled her eyes.
She kissed me gently and soon it was her that didn't wanna go.
She didn't wanna stop kissing me and I had no problem with that.
She stopped and looked into my eyes, "Levi, is this real? Are you really here? Are you really mine again?" She said.
I could sense worry and nervousness in her voice.
"Ashley, baby, I swear I'm all yours and this is real. Nothing can keep us apart okay? We're gonna fix things between us and I promise to never hurt you again." I said and she hugged me.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Yes, I am. You are my world and I love you so much." I said to her.
I could feel her grip around my shirt tighten.
"C'mon, I'm gonna take you home," I said.
ASHLEY'S POV
This just didn't feel real. Was he really mine?
Were we really together again?
We got in his car and he started to drive.
I kept looking at him.
I mean, is this a dream or what? Did I get back together with Levi?
He saw how tensed I looked and placed his hand on my thigh.

I looked at him and he gave me an assuring look.
So he was real after all.
Don't think I'm not excited about it. Trust me, my insides are all butterflies and rainbow.
We soon got to Tash's place and he got out of the car and opened the door for me.
He took my hands in his, "Ashley, I'll pick you up tomorrow okay"
"Okay," I said and stood on my toes to give him a peg.
He was tall and handsome.
"Go in, I'll leave when you do," He said.
"Okay"
I began walking and turning back to wave him.
He chuckled and gestured for me to go in.
When I reached the door, I turned back and ran back to him.
I hugged him so tight.
"Baby, don't worry, I'm real. Go in now. I love you"
"Mhmm...I love you too"
I just didn't wanna let him go. It all felt unreal.
I finally let go of him and went in.
