CHAPTER TWENTY

"How do I look, Tash?" We were having a video call and I was getting ready for my date with Aiden.

"Girl, I knew this dress would look great on you. You look so beautiful"

"To look is an understatement, Tash. I am beautiful"

"Yes, madam. You are so beautiful" She playfully rolled her eyes.

"Thanksss." 

Just then, I heard a horn blow. It was Aiden.

"Tash, he's here. Did you know he had a Tesla?"

"Yeah, he told us only if you'd been paying attention, you would have known"

"Haha, so I'm the bad guy now" 

"Ashley, he loves you. Give him a chance" She said with a serious tone.

"Am trying, Tash"

"Huh. Have fun tho" she became her crazy cheerful self again.

"Yeah, right"

"No, I mean have fun" She raised her brows and winked at me with a look on her face. I knew what she meant.

"Girl, bye" 

She laughed and hung up.

I looked at myself one more time and headed out. 

Aiden looked so handsome in his tuxedo.

"You look gorgeous," he said. He took my hand and spun me around like a 360 thing.

"Thanks, you look good too" I smiled.

He opened the door for me and I sat in the car. 

"So where are we going?" I asked when he was settled.

"It's a surprise," He said and just had this smile on his face. I noticed how cute his smile was for the first time.

Don't blame me, I've tried to love him.

We stayed in silence the whole ride. I was just on my phone checking my work schedule and stuff.

Then Aiden spoke, "We are here" 

I looked out the tainted window and gasped. We were at freaking *HERMOSA DE MONTE*

"Oh my God, I've been wanting to come here so badly, but I've been busy with work." 

"I knew you would like it, but that's not the surprise" 

"It's not?"

He just chuckled.

He got out of the car and opened the door for me.

I murmured a thank you. 

I placed my arm in his and we entered. 

I can't wait to taste the food.

"Hola, bienvenido" One guy said. He was a waiter I guess.

"Gracias," we said in unison.
