Aaaah, my head ached so badly.
I freshened up and went downstairs.
Oh.
Aiden was here. I guess he stayed the night then. He was a really good cook.
"Hey, good morning," I said to announce my presence.
"Good morning" he smiled. "Have a seat and drink this. You'll feel better"
"Thanks. How much did I drink last night?"
"A lot" he chuckled.
Oh.
"That's why I have a bad headache. I didn't say anything right?"
He was silent for a bit and said, "No, you didn't. You just acted like a child" he laughed.
Something's off.
"What? So embarrassing" I buried my face in my hands.
He lifted my head, "It was cute"
I don't know why, but I didn't feel butterflies. Two years with him and I've tried to open up my heart, but it's just hard.
After eating breakfast, I went up to my room to change.
I was gonna meet up with Tasha.
"Ashley, I'll pick you up at 8:00 pm today, I have a surprise for you," Aiden said.
"A surprise? Oooo. Ok I'll be ready"
He kissed me on my forehead and left.
But as I said, I felt nothing. It was as if my brother was placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Where are you, Tash?"
"Am waving at you, I can see you"
"Oh, I've spotted you, I'm coming"
We were going on a shopping spree.
"Heyyyy" Tasha hugged me and we did our handshake.
"How you feeling? Did u also have a headache?"
"Ugh! I don't even wanna talk about it. It was so bad, but Raph did something about it. He's such a sweetheart." She blushed.
"He did something?" I raised one brow at her.
"Girl, what are you thinking? You're baaad"
I laughed. It wasn't my fault that I had a dirty mind.
"You ready?" she asked.
"Yeaaa"
Arm in arm, we entered the mall.
We went to get our nails done and we went to get our hair done too. We both got a silk press done on our curly hair.
"Oh my God, I'm in love with ma nails, like for real," Tash said. She couldn't stop looking at them.
"It's the hair for me, Oooo, see how shiny it is" I said.
We were behaving like teens, Ha!
"You know what'd be better?" Tash said. I knew just what she meant.
"Shopping for new clothes!," we said in unison.

After hours of shopping, I decided to stop by the jewelry store to get a gift for my mom.
Her birthday was Saturday.
"Tash, I have to buy something for my mom. I need your help to get the best present." I said to her. She was a fashion queen and she knew the best things to shop for.
"Yeah, sure. Let's be quick, I'm starving" She placed her hand on her belly.
I laughed, "Sure"
All the jewelry were so beautiful.
"Ash, what about this?" She asked pointing to one.
"She's not a fan of green. Let's continue looking. Am gonna go to the other lane okay"
"Yeah, let's be quick,Ash. I'm so hungry."
"Just hang in there" I laughed at how childish she was being.
"I'll try"
I went to other lane and started looking through. I just wanted to buy the whole store.
I could tho.
I started walking backwards and bumped into someone.
"Oh, sorry." I said and continued. I didn't even look up to see the person's face.
But that scent. It was so familiar. I turned around , but no one was there. What if it was...no, it can't be.
Whoever it was, he made my heart beat so fast.
