I took her to her room and gently laid her on the bed.
I removed her shoes and tied her hair in a cute messy bun.
I tucked her in.
She began to laugh.
"Most importantly, fuck you, Levi Asher-Smith. Fuck you. I hate your guts. Haha, you have no idea what you lost. Am sure you're regretting it".
Her words made me happy, but it hurt that she still thought of him.
It's been nine years and she still had him somewhere in her heart.
Ashley and I met after she graduated from college in London. I knew she was still in love with that jerk, but I was persistent. I mean what person in his right mind would want to give up someone so beautiful, funny, smart, and extremely hot like Ashley?
Anyway...it was his loss.
After so many tries, she finally gave me a chance and we've been together for two years.
And I thought I'd erased every bit of that jerk from her heart.
At least she resented him and I was happy about that.
He did lose the best thing in the world.
And I'm gonna make sure he never comes back into her life.
I'm gonna propose to Ashley...
