"He's such an asshole Tash, he just had to confirm all my thoughts. Even with all that shit he said to my face, I still have feelings for that jerk" His words stung and they hurt so much.

"It's gonna be a crazy day tomorrow. You're gonna see that jerk so you need clear eyes to give him death stares" I laughed. She was crazy.
"It's late, you should go"
"Yeah, see you tomorrow girl. Do not think about him okay" She hugged me and I gave her a peg on her cheek.

I turned my alarm off. I was so tired, I got up and dressed up quickly.
I went downstairs for breakfast.
"Hey sweetie, are you good?" My mom asked. My parents were back, but I knew it wasn't for long.
"How long will you be staying?" I didn't mean to be rude, but sometimes it was as if they forgot they had a teen daughter. Didn't they know that I needed them at this phase of my life?
"Not even a good morning? Don't be like that baby"
"We're sorry for not being around much, but we work so hard for you," My dad said.
"Yeah, you're right, am sorry"
"We are leaving today," Mom said. I knew it.
"What?"
"You just got here"
"We know, but it's a really big business deal and your dad and I have to be there"
"Yeah sure, whatever" I was so mad at them. I wasn't being ungrateful, I just wished they'd be around more often. I missed them
"Baby, we're sorry. See you soon. Love you" and just like that they left.
