"Relax," he said, pulling her closer. "I won't bite."

Malika felt her heart racing as he leaned in closer. She could smell his cologne and feel his breath on her face. She closed her eyes and waited for the kiss as she leaned in closer to Adam, their lips just inches apart.

The garden around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in a world of their own. The anticipation of their kiss filled her with a mixture of excitement and nervousness, but she couldn't deny the overwhelming desire she felt in that moment.

Just as their lips were about to meet, the sound of the bedroom door creaking open shattered the dreamlike atmosphere. Malika's eyes flew open, and she found herself staring at her sister, who had entered the room without warning.

Halima blinked in surprise, her eyes widening at how red her sister face was. "You look.... flushed, why?"

Malika got out of the bed, her long black hair in a mess. Her eyes dilated, lips and chicks very red.

"Uhm-uhm I had a bad dream. A nightmare" She lied.

"Subhanallah!" Halima exclaimed sitting at the bed before she narrow her eyes at her sister.

"Did you even wake up for fajr? Or are you just-"

"-yes, yes I did." Malika roll her eyes opening the handle of her bathroom.

"Be fast! I have something to tell you. I will be waiting for you at the pool!" Halima calls after her before leaving the room.

Malika sat on the pool bench, her mind still preoccupied with her own thoughts and Halima floating inside the water, a dark sunglasses on her face smiling. Malika could tell that something was on her sister's mind, and she couldn't help but be curious.

"Hey, what do you wanna talk about?" Malika said standing up and sitting at the edge of the pool, her legs inside the water closed to her sister, then she heard her sigh.

"Is everything okay?"

Halima hesitated for a moment before leaning at the wall of the pool. "Actually, there's something I wanted to talk to you about," she said, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and uncertainty.

Malika raised an eyebrow, sensing that this was something important. "What is it? You can tell me anything."

Halima took a deep breath and looked at her sister. "Well, you know Muhammad, our commercial law lecturer?"

Malika nodded, remembering their previous conversation about him. "Yes, what about him?"

Halima smiled shyly. "He asked me out on a date yesterday."

Malika's eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't expected this turn of events. "Really? That's...unexpected. What do you think?"

Halima shrugged, her expression conflicted. "I don't know, Malika. On one hand, he seems like a nice guy and I enjoyed talking to him during class. But on the other hand, I can't shake this feeling of unease around him. This couple of weeks, we have been spending time together after his persistence to tutor me..and I found him quite....good."

Malika listened attentively, understanding her sister's hesitation. "Trust your instincts, Halima. If something doesn't feel right, it's important to listen to that."

Halima nodded, grateful for her sister's support. "That's what I've been trying to do. But part of me wonders if I'm just overthinking things. Maybe I should give him a chance and see how it goes."

Malika placed a comforting hand on Halima's shoulder. "Ultimately, the decision is yours to make. Just remember to prioritize your own well-being and happiness. If you decide to go on a date with him, take things slow and trust your instincts."

Halima sighed, her mind still filled with uncertainty. "I appreciate your advice, Malika. I think I need some more time to think about it and figure out what feels right for me."

Malika smiled understandingly. "Take all the time you need, Halima. I'm here for you no matter what decision you make. Just remember that your happiness and comfort should always come first."

Halima nodded, feeling reassured by her sister's words. "Thank you, Malika. I'm glad I can talk to you about this."

The two sisters sat in silence for a moment, the weight of the conversation hanging in the air. But amidst the uncertainty, there was also a sense of support and understanding between them.

"What about you? Have you talked to our parents about Omar?"

Not him again!

"Yes, I did" Malika said reminiscing the way her parent are so determined on there decision.

"How did it go?"

"It was......bad. I don't know which kind of parent are they. I know they love us and provide whatever we need but Halima this is hurting me. This is the twentieth century for God sake!" She said tears streaming down her face.

"Am so sorry sis. Please stop crying. I think I have a plan." Halima said holding her sister's hand.

"A plan? What it is?"

"Why don't we call Grandpa and tell him. You know his someone that Dad will never disobey."

"But-"

"Shii, we will try. Okay?"

"Okay." Malika smiled before hugging her. "I love you so much."
