When they return to school she went on and mingle with his friends for hours without knowing time has passed and it already eight. Malika quickly drive her way home thinking of the problem she will be in, after seeing the countless missed calls of her mother she knows today will not be good.

She parked her car and walk into the house, trying to be as quiet as possible. Immediately she step on the stair of the east wing she feel her presence.

Malika's heart raced as she saw her mother standing at the other wing of the house, her eyes fixed on her. She tried to steady her breathing and put on a nonchalant expression, hoping to deceive her.

"Hey Mom," Malika said, trying to sound casual. "I didn't expect to see you up so late."

Her mother's gaze remained fixed on her, her arms crossed over her chest. "Malika, where have you been? I've been calling you all evening and you didn't answer any of my calls."

Malika's mind raced, desperately searching for a believable excuse. "Oh, sorry Mom. My phone must have been on silent. I was just out with some friends, grabbing a late dinner."

Her mother's eyes narrowed, suspicion evident in her voice. "At this hour? why didn't you let me know? And since when did you have friends in school?"

Great!

Just great!

Malika swallowed hard, feeling the weight of guilt pressing down on her. She knew lying wasn't the right approach, but admitting the truth would only lead to more trouble.

"I'm sorry, Mom," Malika replied, her voice tinged with regret. "I didn't want to bother you with the details. We were just catching up and lost track of time."

Her mother didn't say anything. She was just looking at her carefully like reading something on her daughters face.

"This should be the first and the last time."

Malika nodded."Yes, mom."

She took the stairs fast and made her way to her room. Immediately she closed the door, she let out a long breath before smiling.

Today has been so good to her. Malika couldn't remember the last time she felt this happy. It has been so long and it the best feeling ever!

Her phone vibrated and she quickly fish it out from her pocket. It was a message from Adam.

-Gudnyt, brave girl!

Malika smiles even more upon reading the message. She likes the nickname so much. Everything about Adam gives her butterflies and she's scared because this is not just a mare crush.

She's deeply falling in love....with him.

Halima

A few days after their memorable dinner date, Halima found herself standing outside Muhammad's office at the university. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves as she prepared to see him again.

As she entered the office, she noticed the walls adorned with books and photographs. It was clear that Muhammad had a passion for knowledge and learning. She couldn't help but admire his dedication and commitment to his work. As she looked closely she notice a picture of a boy whom seems so familiar to her, like she have seen him somewhere before.

Who is he?

Muhammad looked up from his desk, a smile spreading across his face when he saw Halima. "Halima, I'm so glad you could make it," he said warmly, standing up to greet her.

Halima returned his smile, feeling a sense of comfort wash over her. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," she replied, her voice filled with genuine excitement before looking at the picture again.

"Who's that cute boy." She pointed at the frame.

Muhammad seems startled at first before he mask his emotions. "His my....little cousin. His the last born of my uncles wife."

"Your uncle? I thought you said he died."

"Of course. His wife, Maryam was pregnant when he died."

Halima didn't know why but something about how his talking seems off. She just cleared her negative thoughts, she already gave him her trust.

"Please sit." Muhammad offered her a seat opposite him.

They settled into the cozy office, As they began to talk, Halima was captivated by Muhammad's enthusiasm for teaching and his passion for his students' success. She admired his dedication to making a difference in their lives.

"So, how has your week been?" Muhammad asked, leaning back in his chair.

Halima chuckled softly. "Busy, as always. But I've been looking forward to seeing you again."

Muhammad's eyes sparkled with affection. "Likewise. I can't stop thinking about our date and the connection we shared."

Halima blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her. "Me too. It was truly special."

As they continued to talk, Halima found herself opening up to Muhammad about her dreams and aspirations. She shared her love for art and her desire to make a positive impact in the world. Muhammad listened attentively, his eyes never leaving hers.

"I believe in you, Halima," Muhammad said softly, reaching across the desk to hold her hand. "Your passion and determination are inspiring. I know you will achieve great things....This is a little bit fast but i want you to know that I really want to marry you. I want to make you mine Halima. Please let me introduced myself to your parent."

Halima felt a surge of emotion, her heart swelling with gratitude for Muhammad's unwavering love. "I give you the permission. You're always welcome to my home."

Muhammad gave a heart warming smile looking at her. Halima knows that this is so fast but she didn't know why she also wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

Their connection has been growing stronger with each passing day, as they continued to spend time together both inside and outside the university. They shared laughter, deep conversations, and moments of vulnerability.
