Malika
Malika's mind was spinning as she tried to make sense of what she had just heard. She couldn't know what to think anymore.
She's numb.
As her grandfather came into her room, Malika couldn't help but ask him about what she had overheard.
"Grandpa, what were you talking about with my father? What did you mean by telling that girl who she truly is?" Malika asked, her voice shaking.
Her grandfather was stilled before he sighed and sat down next to her. "Malika, there are things that you don't need to worry about right now. What's important is that the wedding has been called off."
Malika's heart lifted at the news, but she still couldn't shake the feeling of unease. She looked down at her feet nervously. "Am sorry for bringing shame to our family."
Her grandfather looked at her sternly. "You know that our religion and morals are important! You made a mistake, and it's time for you to seek repentance for what you did!"
Malika felt a pang of guilt and regretful She knew it was wrong, but she had been too caught up in the moment to think about the consequences.
Her grandfather continued, "You need to focus on your studies and your faith. You have your whole life ahead of you, and it's up to you to make the right choices."
She nodded, feeling grateful for her grandfather's guidance. She knew that she needed to make amends for what she had done and focus on making better choices in the future.
As she hugged her grandfather tightly, she knew that even though her life had taken an unexpected turn, she still had people who loved her and cared for her. And that was all that mattered.

"Hey girl." Halima sat beside her the next day. She took her hand in hers and smile."how are you feeling now?"
Malika return the gesture. She push her long hair back and tighten her hold on her sister's. "Am fine. Thank you Halima for always being there for me. And....am sorry for how I acted days ago, sorry for everything and I hope you will forgive me."
"Don't be silly. I have already forgiven you. I know Adam can be manipulating and dangerous. All I wants you to do is to go back to your old self. Be confidence and focused Malika. Don't you ever let that bastard get to you. Okay?"
Malika nodded pulling her into a hug."I promise."
~~~~~~~
Her parents called her into their sitting room. Malika could tell from the stern look on their faces that they had something important to discuss with her.
"We need to talk to you about your future," her father began. "We know that the wedding has been called off, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen in the future. We are just buying some time to make sure that everything is in order."
Her heart sank as she realized that her parents are never going to give up on that. And she couldn't believe that they were willing to force her into a marriage that she didn't want.
"We also want you to go back to school," her mother added. "But if you ever make any stupid mistakes again, we will pull you out of school and by Allah even your grandfather cannot save you."
She felt trapped. She knew that she needed to focus on her studies and make better choices in the future, but the thought of being forced into a marriage by her own parents with someone she didn't love filled her with dread.
"I have learned my lesson and i promise this will never happened." She said looking down.
"It better not." Her mother said standing up and leaving the elegant sitting room.
"Malika sit." Her father gestures to the chair opposite him. She sat down and her fingers went to play with the hem of her blue blouse.
"I know you must be thinking like we don't love you. All this things we're doing is for your own good. If Omar had wanted to marry Halima, we will have done the same thing to her. Don't you ever think for a second that we're being hard on you. You will always be our little Malika." He said smiling.
Hard on me?!! You always make me feel unloved!!
Malika wants to shouts those words but she refined from doing it and composed herself. She smiled back at him. "I know."
"Good girl. Go and start preparing for school tomorrow. You have missed a week already."
"Thank you Dad." Malika said before standing up. She went back to her room and her thought went back to Adam.
Is she going to take her revenge or just let it go after all the pains he has caused her???
