X-FLSIH affects 1 in a billion people. You must be truly miserable if that one person is you. The chemical repels people who sense it, unless they have a penchant for danger, as it models the afflicted into a perfect predator. Maybe in the ancient times it was a gift from God to make the ultimate survivor, but in modern day it slowly fries away nerves, dissolves muscles, liquefies organs, the longer that the victim utilizes the chemical. Even the fast healing it provides will do nothing against itself.

YN Jang, lives a life of misery.

As Eli Jang's sister she was raised with an abusive drunkard dad who targeted her, and an absent useless mom who tormented Eli. YN would defend Eli, and sometimes, bizarrely, their mom would listen. Once the parents had both been replaced by step-parents, Eli eventually had enough of the constant abuse, leaving and YN too eventually. YN's memory is hazy of this time, and it feels like Eli has a secret.

Not wanting to be abandoned by her only family, YN left a few months later, at the ripe age of nine, to scavenge for food on the streets, become skilled at the conning skills, and hone her body and skills into a survival machine for three years, still never encountering her older brother.

Finally, she stumbles upon Big Deal's street, and begins to con the handsome charming man know as Sinu Han, who, in typical golden retriever manner, thinks she's absolutely adorable and basically adopts her, sharpening her survival skills into fighting skills, and transforming her from an orphan who wildly fought to fend off dangers, to a skilled and powerful weapon, beginning at age 12. With the safety of Big Deal, YN's X-FLSIH slowly fades away, and with it, as a defense mechanism, fades away any memories of a time before Big Deal.

By 13, Jake Kim and Samuel Seo have entered the Big Deal scene, staying and growing Big Deal, and growing with Big Deal as well. As Jake and Sammy adopt big-brother-esque roles, YN's memories of Eli slowly return, reminding her of her original goal to find her brother. YN's memories have not completely returned of this time.

YN loves Big Deal, but one day she finds an innocent brown-haired boy that was willing to do anything for the people he loved, and she realizes why she must never abandon her goal of finding Eli. She spends some time with the boy, then abruptly leaves to find Eli, who has left the Carpenter and started his own family with Hostel. She is welcomed, but as we know, Lookism is a tragedy.

On the fateful night where Sinu sells himself and Hostel is destroyed, YN witnesses both. She just misses Johan and Jerry in his transfer from Hostel to Big Deal as she runs from Big Deal back to Hostel to help defend against Gun. Perhaps things would have turned out different if they met. Perhaps both of her families could have united, and perhaps things wouldn't have turned out the way they did.

With Sinu gone and Jake in charge, YN goes to see what she can do. It hurts her too much to be there, knowing she wasn't there when he needed it, so she does what she does best. She runs away, back to Hostel, just in time to see it dissolve.

She knows that both tragedies are the demon's fault.

Left with nothing, YN wanders the streets of Seoul, aimless. Eli left her again. She is a traitor to Big Deal. There is nothing left to live for.

But Heather finds her, and Heather gives her a mission.

And Heather, ultimately, is the one that doesn't live.

Eli returns when Yenna is born, and finally the siblings are truly reunited, bonded by the pain they both went through. And together, they run away to start a new life.

But the past hurts, and YN doesn't want to hurt anymore.

She lets all the memories of the past slip away from her.

Until Daniel Park.

When Daniel Park arrives at school, his skill, the copycat ability, and his innocent manner reminds YN of a certain boy that she found on the streets. She investigates more, slowly delving deeper into her past and discovering all the things that made her her. As she discovers herself, she is more aware of everyone around her, and the life that had fallen into a mundane rhythm as she just helped Eli in whatever he needed began to form into something colorful and passionate and one YN could see herself living.

But with all these new feelings and behaviors, comes a resurgence of YN's defense mechnasim, X-FLSIH, and she continues to keep running from her problems. She skirts along getting involved in gangs again, she avoids other's feelings of friendship or other for her, and she hides away when the demon returns to her life.

She can't hide forever, and he finds her, perhaps with the aid of Crystal Choi, a shady but relatable girl that also mysteriously appears in her life.

With the entwinement of the past and the present, YN's life will not be easy.
