"Doo told me some things about One MCN." Daniel leaned close to her to whisper in her ear.

YN cast a sidelong glance to the rest of the glass. Some of the girls were whispering at her. With the unprecedented time she and Daniel were spending together, of course the rumors had gravitated to dating.

That also meant Jay gave her disconsolate looks that made her feel guilty.

AS IF she would ever date Daniel. She couldn't look at him the same way, not after it turns out he was actually one person pretending to be two separate people and was subject to some sort of magic that transformed him when he slept.

So many things had suddenly made sense, but she hadn't reacted to the information exactly...well.

YN stumbled back so quickly she banged her head on Daniel's kitchen cabinets and fell to the floor clutching her head at the sudden headache. Her heart was racing with X-FLSIH and adrenaline as she stayed in that position for a few seconds, waiting for the pounding to lessen. When she had finally raised her head again, little Daniel was staring at her.

Their eyes were exactly the same.

She banged her head against the floor.

So that explained Daniel's peculiar behavior about the roommates way back when they had first met. (ch. 5. Liquid Courage)

That explained little Daniel defending big Daniel to Vasco, though they had at that point likely never had the opportunity to meet. (ch. 7. Crushing Memories)

That explained Daniel's class topping and his sick, guilty look when it was revealed he had beaten the hardworking usual class topper. (ch. 11. If I Stay there will be Troubleeee) When he was sleeping during the tests he had actually been studying for them.

It explained little Daniel answering Crystal with the exact same words the other Crystal had used with the big Daniel. (ch. 19. Begging)

Hell, it even explained how Daniel was able to become such a good dancer in such a short period of time during their bout as idol trainees. (ch. 38. Otherworldly) He had been practicing 24/7, as little AND big Daniel.

IT FUCKING EXPLAINED THE STALKER INCIDENT THAT HAD INTERRUPTTED HER AND KOUJI'S DATE. (ch. 41. Date) What was it the crazed woman had screamed? "He has two bodies."

YN rose, her head spinning and pounding.

Daniel was looking at her shocked and worried. THe dropped jaw goldfish look was the exact same as the one Big Daniel had when he had seen her drugged by Gun. Well, there was no big/little Daniel anymore, just Daniel. She had seen all the signs, she just hadn't seen all the signs.

"H-How did this happen?" she asked finally.

"I don't know," Daniel admitted. "I was bullied in my old school by Logan Lee. I came to J High to escape it. And on my second night here I woke up in the second body. I thought I had died or something. I was so light, fast, and strong, and I was staring at my old pathetic body from above. But I looked in that mirror and saw myself, just, it wasn't me." He pointed to the mirror above the bathroom sink.

YN pressed her lips together, waiting for him to elaborate.

"The school we saw Gun in?" He pointed to the big Daniel. "When my other body was in a coma, since I'M Daniel Park, somehow that body was registered to the hospital under 'James Lee.' I went to the address listed and found the school jacket leading to that high school. The picture Gun wanted back from me? I had found that picture in a locker over there. It was a family picture of a young man, woman, and baby near a supermarket, Eh Mart. I went over there, and it was abandoned. But there was a calendar with a moving date and an address."
