"Ouch." YN winced as the needle went straight into her thumb. She dropped the white wolf patch she was sewing onto the lapel of another prototype coat, and hastily yanked open the medicine drawer. There were rolls of bandages, alcohol, gauze, medical tape, but no bandaids. She could just like, keep working? But blood was spilling everywhere, and it was going to stain her work.

She sighed exasperatedly and wrapped her thumb in a tissue, then pulled on her third black hoodie, hoping it wouldn't get enough blood on it for a replacement, then began walking to the convenience store.

Little Daniel was there, like usual, and Zoe was there too, like what was becoming usual, flirting with little Daniel.

YN's battered black converse squeaked against the rubber tiles as she wandered the isles, glimpsing the bandaids through the fluorescent white light. She grabbed it, ignoring the sting in her thumb as blood soaked through, then rang it up with little Daniel.

"YN are you okay?" he asked, the typical good friend.

"Yup, stitching accident." Lying had become such a second nature to her, she was shocked to hear herself telling the truth.

"Oh, I'm great at sewing. Let me know if you need help."

YN smiled a weary but grateful grin. "Thanks Daniel, I will."

The bells above the door jingled, bringing a wave of energy to the peaceful conversation.

"Daniel. YN. Zoe. Do something to stop Jiho," Duke exclaimed loudly but calmly, as Jiho followed behind, flustered. "It's illegal gambling. He just keeps going around getting robbed," said Duke, throwing Jiho under the bus.

YN was still surprised when she came across good people.

"Oh! I know about that!" Zoe interjected. "If you guess the game score you win right?"

"No, that is legal sports betting. There is a range of illegal betting games."

"Oh! That was on the news because celebs are into it too, right?"

"Yeah. it's super trendy among teens too."

The bell on the door opened and in stepped Jiho's friend.

That's my co-worker, YN recognized. Well, ex-coworker, she had quit after getting the modeling job. "John?"

"Oh? It's you. This is the right place. Jiho-why'd you ask me to come here of all places?" John, the guy, asked.

"Oh! Just cuz I planned to meet some guys I know here." Jiho answered.

"Jiho these are your friends?" John's eyes flitted between the group, settling on Zoe, or more specifically, her chest, accentuated by the wheres waldo fit.

Daniel sidled in front of her, blocking John's view.

More good people. I'm going to have an allergic reaction.

There was a flicker of disgust on John's face, but then he turned to YN. "YN right? Nice to see you outside of work." His eyes lowered to the bloodstained tissue. "What happened there?"

"Little accident." YN said curtly. He could have at least tried to sound like he cared and wasn't trying to get in her pants.

"Aww, you have nice hands."

YN resisted gagging.

John turned to Jiho. "Here. Your loan."

"A hundred?!" Jiho was shocked. "But I only gave you 50 before!"
