YN frowned as Wright handed her another box of sample clothing. The warehouse was piled with these boxes, and YN was disappointed to realize none of them were up to her standard. For the past week they had been contacting manufacturers to make the clothing for her company, which became more and more successful with every appearance that DG made wearing her clothes. They were far past the point of handmade clothing and hand-shipping orders.

YN had been working her ass off every day after school, and Wright had been doing even more, but still, change was change and growth was growth.

"Well, you have to pick something, YN," Wright complained. "The orders are piling up like crazy and we've long ran out of stock."

YN scratched her chin, biting her lip thoughtfully. When she was making the clothing at first, she had put soooo much thought into the material and design. She remembered explaining it fervently to Johan (ch. 27. Rebirth pt2). Remembering Johan sent another tug in her heart that she had learned to ignore. "But everything just... sucks."

Wright sighed. "I guess this is my fault for doing business with a child. Fine. There's one more manufacturer that we can contact. My coworker promised they are very good at creating everything." He shuddered, shaking his head. "He gives me the creeps. But he's my boss so I'll deal–"

"--your boss?" YN interrupted. "I thought you ran your own clinic?"

Wright sighed. "That went out of business a while ago, it was just too small. I've been surviving on my cut of this business, but I decided my medical degree needs to be put to work."

"Where do you work now?" inquired YN. She was awfully curious. Maybe because she was procrastinating on picking a manufacturer for the White Wolf.

"A plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam," he mumbled. "I know I know it's distasteful, but they had hella jobs open, and I can prep surgery rooms and things," he added at YN's raised eyebrows.

"Do what must be done," YN agreed. "Why would your boss need to make fake things?"

"I-I don't know," he admitted. "But I'm not going to ask any questions."

She shrugged. "Valid. Ok, I'll contact them then. Good luck in your new job."

"Thanks, I'll need it." He flinched again.

"I mean, you're the greatest doctor I know. And how many doctors can say they've been in a gang?"

"Ugh damn you! For the last time I wasn't in the gang I just had a part time job in the clothing store!" (ch. 14. The Gremlin's Doctor)

"Same thing." She winked. Wright had done so much research for her X-FLSIH during her time in Big Deal that he had basically kept her alive. (ch. 22. Angel Fallen) And he was also Sinu's favorite because Sinu had a weird fascination with Americans. He had made Wright star in all his YouTube videos (lookism Ep 306: Jake Kim (5) Sinu is canonically an influencer).

Sinu...

Am I really never going to see him again? She felt a little numb. Jake. Jake. Jake. Both of them were locked up now, because of Gun.

Oh, how she despised him.

I want my dad, she admitted mentally. I want to see Sinu again. She ducked away to the bathroom before Wright could see her cry.
