Dean had been gone all day, so I was getting a little anxious. I mean, it's happened before, but he is still my brother, I can get worried. When I heard the impala pull up and the door unlock I was glad to here he was okay, well at least he's not dead. I just didn't expect him to come home with someone else.

That was why I was freaked out, nothing else. The first person to come in wasn't Dean, that's it. He looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't tell. I was still confused when Dean said his name was Castiel.

"I'm the weirdo that ran into you the other night.. And left," I heard the trench coated man say.
"Oh!" I replied, extending my hand for him to shake it. He didn't. "Nice to meet you, formally." I nodded. "You're not a weirdo.." Dean looked at me and then at Castiel. "At least not any more weird than us." I rolled my eyes.

Now, Dean sat up and looked at me right in the eyes. No matter how hard I try, I keep forgetting how green his eyes are. "Sammy, I have some stuff to tell you." He sounded serious, like Oh Cas is the devil & we gotta kill him but in not sure how haha he followed me hahaha

I hoped that wasn't it. "Castiel, is kind of my.. Umm.. Y'know umm.."

I shook my head. "No, I don't know."

Dean grunted at me. "See this cutie? He is my angel. That's all I gotta say. Now shut your mouth, I don't want any lip."

I laughed. "I said I didn't want any hate, okay?"

I wiped a tear from my eye. "That's not it Dean."

"Then what the fuck is it?"

"I know. I've known. Dad did too. We saw how you looked at some of the guys, and how you turned your head as quick as you could. Plus, no healthy man buys that many pornos unless their faking it. I'm fine with it. And yes Cas, you could say that you are an adorable little angel." I saw both of their cheeks grow red hot.

"I was that obvious?"

"I could tell you weren't interested in any of your girlfriends, but don't sweat. No one asked me about you."

Dean fell on the bed and sighed.
It was Castiel's turn to chime in. "Oh thank god, I was scared you were going to slap him or something.. Oh wait.. He's older.. But ugh.. Anyway.. I have a huge question to ask of you."

I tilted my head. "Tell me before Dean passes out."

"Could you and Dean continue teaching me demon hunting things? I'll be good.. I'll find good hotels to sleep in, I'll cook, I won't chicken out on anything.. If you teach me.. Please..can I go with you?"

Woahhhh I did NOT expect that. I was thinking more along the lines of
Will you forgive us if we bang to loud??

I had to think of the words to say.

"Um.. You know you won't really be able to take much right?"

"Yeah, but I can leave my cat Gismo with my friend at the shelter."

"You'll have to leave your friends, and you can't tell them why."

"She was my only friend, and we don't talk much."

"Life on the road.."

"Sounds cool, if it's in that impala."

"You might get hurt a lot.."

"Sounds like a job I've been training for my whole life."

He rolled up his sleeves and showed me rows upon rows of horizontal scars. Some newer, some older. I swallowed.

"I am.. So sorry man. Well.. You've always got us." I got up and hugged him. I hated to know people did that to themselves. Even if you kill things for a living, you should know that you're doing it for the best. You should take pride, you're a hero, not anything less. "We will stick by you're side no matter what. Cas, always keep fighting." Dean got up and hugged Castiel too. It was a weird group huddle of sorts. "I guess this means I'm in?" Cas grinned. "Yeah."
