Chapter 2 continued

"Leave me alone Charlie!" I say. I meant Charlie at youth conference. Me played the game of life (yes this is all true) in real life I was fake married to Charlie for the game. He is short (I'm not dissing short people) annoying, weird. You could say I didn't like him but I would say I hate him (to this day) after the game there was a dance and he asked if I would go with him, I rejected him. He didn't take that well. While we were dancing at the dance a song came on: if I was your boyfriend by Justin Bieber. Yes this happened! And he said "I asked to play this some for you."
"What's the deal short stuff?" Lach says which is funny because he's just as short.
"I'm talking to my wife."
"NO, you are not!" I say
"Who's this little guy?" Chandler asks
"Oh my gosh!!" I say out loud. Kate is next to me laughing, she knows the story.
"It's a long story." I say to Chandler.
A slow song comes on: hero by family of the year.
"Aye bae, you wanna dance?" Charlie asks
"Yes, but not with you." I turn around faster than lighting and basically chest bump Chandler, not exspecting that.
"Walk away little nemo." Chandler says
After he walks away I tell Chandler the story.
"That is hilarious!" He says.
"No it's not!" I say sort of mad but laughing.
He twirls me. I tag. And come back.
"Come with me." he says.
"Oh, aw ok." He's holding my hand.
"Kate I'll be right back." I say. She nods, and mouths "ooooooohhh!" I laugh. We walk out to a grassy area outside the building. It's dark out: 10:43 pm. "Chandler, what are we doing?"
"It's a full moon."
"Ok let's go dance." I can hear Need you right now by Bethany mota playing inside.
"No look!" I look and see a shooting star.
"It's pretty, let's go dance." I try and tug free of his hand but it won't budge.
"I used to watch full moons for hours with my grandpa." He's gonna make me cry if he passed, I say to myself.
I wrap my arms around his one arm.
"Did he pass?" I saw softly.
"Yeah." He's looking at the ground now.
"I'm sorry." I say. A tear goes down his cheek.
"Don't cry! You will see him again one day, you know that." He sniffed.
"I've been where you are." I say
"My aunt passed from cancer. It broke me."
He's holding his head in his arms while I rub his back. He looks up and hugs me. He whispered "I'm sorry. Let go back inside." I nod
By the time we get back inside the last song is playing: can you feel the love tonight from the lion king. I can see lach, he is dancing to the song with a different girl and and mouthing the words to her, she looks mortified. Chandler and I laugh. He unlaced my fingers from his, he took my hands in his and we danced. 11:06: a brotheren is giving the prayer. As I bow my head to pray I say my own. I ask for this efy exspirence to be different from all the rest. I look up to see Chandler "hey," he's trying to get my attention "earth to Bailey!" I look up and chuckle. "Sorry I got caught up in my own prayer."
"No problem, let's get you and Kate back to your dorm."
"Ok," I say.
I hollered at Kate who was talking to Charlie! Yes she was. Chandler was laughing. Lachland walked to his dorm with his new friend David. When I get to my dorm Kate walks in and I stay in the hall talking to Chandler. "Goodnight, I'll see you guys in the morning." I look down at my feet. "Hey?" He says
"Oh sorry, yeah goodnight."
"What's wrong, B?" Did he really just say that? Haha that's my actual nickname so I wonder is Kate said anything. "I'm just a little embarrassed about the whole Charlie thing."
"Don't be. I is kinda funny."
"You called him nemo!" I start to laugh.
"Haha yeah I did."
"Ok well goodnight...again." He leans over and kisses my cheek. He walks away. Once he's out of sight I blush like crazy. I walk in and close the door behind me. Kate is already asleep. "Thank you, Heavenly Father." I saw in a soft whisper.
