Chapter 3: efy- day 3

I'm eating breakfast in the cafeteria with Kate. Lach is sitting with a girl Courtney, the girl he likes. "So what happened last night?" Kate asks I'm starrng at Chandler, he's sitting with his mom.
"Mm... What?"
"Oh my gosh! Bailey focus!"
"Kate chill! What did you say?"
"What happened last night?" She said it slowly.
"He kissed me."
"What!?" I'm still starring
"On the cheek." I said casually, I had my elbow on the table with my head propped in my hand
"Oh my heart you almost gave me a heart attack!"
He noticed me and gave a small wave and resumed conversation with his mom. Kate snapped her fingers in my face.
"What? Why are you so moody? You on your P?"
"What? Bailey no!"
"Ok good."
"So you could say you guys are getting pretty serious?" ( Napoleon Dynamite reference, yeah I'm cool!) She sipped her OJ and starred at me.
"What?"
"Let get to class"
"Ok"

On our way to class I was stopped by a little boy with flowers! YES FREAKING CHARLIE! Kate doesn't defend me because she thinks it's funny.
"I want to apologize for last night, I should have been the bigger man and taken you from that Chan guy."
"That the crud Charlie? I don't want your flowers!" I gave them to Kate she gave a funny glare.
"Man you are just playin' hard to get girl!"
He walked off.
"Thanks for the flowers bae-ly!" Kate said sarcastically.
"You are very welcome!" I said with a smile

I'm class we learned about believing in yourself. I loved the lesson. Elaine S. Dalton taught it, I love her! "What's up B?" Chandler said. He came out of no where. I was leaning against a wall waiting for Kate to finish peein'. "Just waiting for Kate."
"I saw you this morning, eye balling me." His smirk is to die for!
"What no!"
"Do you like me or something Ms.Cook?" He said with that attractive smirk. Then walked off. He left me just like that! So many questions were going through my head.
"Ready?" Kate asked
"Uhh yup" I said

We walked to the gift shop I wanted a BYU shirt.
"This one is so cute!" Kate held up a bedazzled Shirt with Big Letters BYU on it.
"Umm... Not my style." After searching the store for what felt like hours I found one! But I also found this necklace that was so cute! But not $50 cute!
"Maybe when your parents come." Kate said
"$50 for a necklace is a little rediculas!"
"Yeah, let's go to grandaddy's." Our granddaddy live down the road mrs. Riggs drove us. She said that it would be great to see them. Apparently she knows the humphreys'. I don't know how.

I knock in the door and my granddaddy answers
"Bailey girl! So good to see you!!" "And Kate!" He squeezed her tight. You can't escape granddaddy Larry's tough huggs. He give me some kisses in the cheek, but nothing like Chandler's!
"Hi granddaddy!" Me and Kate say in unison. "Penny isnt here she went to the store." (My grandmother)
"Ok we will have to come back after efy. We can't stay long."
"Jina it's good to see you too!" We stayed and had lunch.

When we got back to the campus I told Kate I wanted to look at the gift shop one last time. She went back to the dorm. I walked in and saw Chandler buying the necklace I wanted. He quickly pulled it off the counter after he saw me. I walked up to him. "What are you doing?"
"Ok you caught me."
"I saw you in here with Kate and heard you talking about the necklace...I got it for you."
"Chandler that's so sweet! Thank you!" He rubbed his neck.
"Lets grab a pretzel."
"Sure."
We are sitting out side in a bench eating out pretzels.
"sorry if I made you uncomfortable elier."
"Oh yeah...that."
"Was it too soon?"
"I think it might have been."
"Sorry."
"Don't be it was funny." He leaned over and kissed my forehead.
"We should get you back to your dorm princess."
We got up and started walking, I leaned my head on his shoulder as we walked.
"Why princess?"
"Because I bought you a $50 dollar necklace!"
I giggled. " where did you go during lunch? I was waiting."
"Oh my gosh you were waiting?! I wouldn't have gone if I knew that. Sorry."
"It's no big deal. Where did you go anyways?"
"Me and Kate went to my grandaddy's he lives down the street. Your mom took us."
"That was nice of her." We meant the entrance of the complex.
"You know I'm going to need your number if I ever lose you again." Chandler said
"Yeah ok."
I wrote it on his hand. "I'll see you tomorrow princess."
I started walking away "goodnight." I said "love you." My head went WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY BAILEY!? "Huh?" Chandler asked
"Ohh nothing I said goodnight, I will see you in the morning."
" breakfast?"
"Sure." I said with a wink. Nice save Bailey! I walked to the door I heard loud music playing I opened the door to see Kate dancing like on dancing with the stars!
"What the poop Kate?!" I said
"Oh crud nuggets!" She yelled. She fell back and banged her arm on the bunk bed. I knelt down to see if she was ok. We are both hysterically laughing at this point
"It hurts." She said in a laughing and in pain voice.
"Come on let's see the nurse." I walked her to the nurse at 1:29 am

"In the nurse's office she have Kate a cast for her broken arm. "You're one tough chic, Kate!" The nurse said. "I'll call your parents in the morning Kate, just to let them know you're ok." Mrs. Riggs said. she is kind of in charge of efy that's why she was there.
"Thanks guys."
"How this happen anyway?" The nurse asked
"It's a long story we said in unison." We walked out of the building and stared to our dorm, holding hands. At 2:30am.
"No more dancing," I said. then we laughed all night.
