Chapter 12: this isnt goodbye

It's February 10, Chandler leaves for his mission today. I woke up on Chandler's couch. The night before we stayed up all night playing games and watching movies. I didn't want it to end. Jina made crapes. I got off the couch and entered the kitchen. "Good mornin'!" She said. Her eyes were puffy. I hugged her
"I'm going to miss him too!" I told her. Chandler and Greyson walked down stairs.
"Good morning, B." Chandler kissed me.
"Last night was awesome!" Greyson said.
"You were so loud you dad couldn't sleep!" Jina said. Jina a walked over to Chandler and gave him a hug.
"I'm going to miss you so much!" She said
"Me too, mom." He said
After breakfast Chandler and I had our 'last snowball fight'
"No deer pee this time, B!" He yelled from his fort.
"I don't make promises!" I yelled. I threw a snowball at his face and he laughed.
"Your so on!" He yelled. After 10 minutes of dueling Annie, Alan, and Aiden opend the back gate.
"We're playing!" Annie said
"Annie your on my side!" I yelled she ran over dodging a ball Chandler had threw. Alan and Aiden ran to Chandler's side. "Annie, I need ammo!" I said
She turned around and made like 12 snowballs
"Holy poop, Annie!"
"Snowball making is a lost art!" She said. Then she pelted her brother in the back.
"What the butt did you put in that thing?!" Aiden said
"Rocks! Eat it!" Annie said
"Your violent!" I told Annie
"I know! It's fun!" Chandler came over secretly and tackled me to the ground.
"Got you." He said. I laughed
"Your crushing my spleen!" I said sarcastically.
"We will earn victory!" The boys yelled. Then they pelted us with a dozen snowballs.
"I think I'm done." I said.
"No, we need to make snow angels." Chandler said.
He helped me up. Annie still played, brutally hitting the boys
"I hope you get bruises!" She yelled. Me and Chandler walked over to some clean snow. He pushed me to the ground and came with me.
"Make a snow angel." He said. And we moved our hand and feet side to side. He helped me up and we looked at out master pieces.
"Worst snow angel, ever!" I said throwing snow at his angel.
"Hey!" He yelled. Then he tickled me to the ground.
"Behave!" He said. I blew a raspberry in his face.
"Ew!" He said wiping the spit off his face.
I got up and helped him up.
"You can't tell me what to do!" I said
"Yet!" He called back pointing to my ring. We laughed. My mom opened the back door.
"Bailey can you go get the cake and some ice cream from Costco?"
"Yeah mom!" Chandler said mimicking my voice. I laughed as we went inside to get the keys. I threw my purse over my shoulder and walked out the front door with Chandler following. We got in the car and drove to Costco. We hopped out of the car, I couldn't see Chandler.
"Chandler?" Where'd he go?
"Vroooom!" I head behind me I turned around to see Chandler pushing a cart.
"Get in, your careage awaits!" He said. I got in with my feet hanging out of the cart. I looked up and Chandler had his racing game face on. I showed my card and we 'drove' to the back to retreave the cake. "Your a reckless driver!" I said as he made a sharp turn.
"If you don't like my kindnes you can leave!" He said sarcastically.i laughed. I hopped out and opened a giant fridge. I pulled the cake out. It said: have a good time of you mission! We love you! On it
"Isnt that sweet." I said putting it in the cart.
"Awe your mom is too kind." He said. I stepped on the bar and the bottom of the cart and held on to the handles. Chandler pushed the cart.
"Ice cream!" He yelled.
"You act like a child for your age!" I said. He zoomed to the freezer section and pulled out a tub of chocolate and vanilla ice cream.
"Check out!" I said in his voice. We paid and the door lady high lighted our receipt. We unloaded the ice cream and cake in the back seat and Chandler drove back. Wen we got to his house Chandler opened the back seat. "Let your muscular fiancée get that for you." He said in a low voice. I hit I'm in the chest
"Scronny!" I said
"I'm not scronny! Do I look like Urcle?" I laughed so hard. I carried the cake and he got the ice cream. We walked in and they yelled
"Surprise!" A banner read 'happy engagement and mission call!'
"Aw Thank you!" I said. After lunch Chandler and I just spend our day together. His mom cooked dinner for us, then we had to drive to the airport. Chandler walked down the stairs in a suit holding 2 giant suitcases. William grabed one. I opened the door for them and they loaded them in the car. We took to 3 cars. I was with Chandler in our car. As we approached the departure I started to cry. I got out of the car and helped him with his bags. He hugged his parents and Greyson, then my mom and dad , and Annie. Then me. We walked over to my shaking body. He held me so tight. "Don't leave!" I say
"I'll be back." He said. At this point I was balling out tears. "This isn't good bye. I'll see you in 2 years in a white dress." He pulled me away and wiped a tear from my cheek. He kissed me and started walking away "I love you!" He called
"I love you!" I said back he turned around
"I'll see in in a bit, B." And then he was gone, just like that.
