Chapter 25: good bye Tahiti

Chandler and I woke up early to catch the sunrise on our last day on this gorgeous island, Tahiti. This honeymoon has been amazing despite not scuba diving and getting dehydrated. This was a amazing adventure Chandler and I had. Chandler and I are in the balcony watching the sun come up. Our plane leaves in 7 hours. We decided to make the best out of those 7 hours. Chandler rubbed my feet as we talked about college and our life in 5 years. We then went to the beach. I tanned in the sun while Chandler made sand castles. It was funny considering there were other people making elaborate castles 10x bigger than Chandler's.
"Honey, they are most likely making fun of your pathetic castle." I said.
"I'll have you know that for a beginner I have some outstanding art right here." He said. I laughed.
"Im going to miss Tahiti." I said
"Me too. I haven't look at my phone this whole time, I hope we didn't miss anything." He said. It cost us $3 a minute to call relatives, so we turned off our phones to prevent to erge to call.
"Where is Annie moving to?" Chandler asked
"She got a job promotion so she has enough money now to rent her own apartment." Right now she is living in her room still, packing up to leave.
"Good for her. It's great to see her launching her life." He said
"I know, but I'm really going to miss her." I said
"She practically your sister, born 5 days apart, It'd be weird not to." He said
"Wen we land in SLC our phone are going to blow up with notifications." I said
"I hope we didn't miss anything important."
"Me too." I said. He stood up and pulled out a disposable camera to take a picture of his "art" work. That is probably our 25 camera plus the photos from Mana we are getting.
"Mr. And Mrs. Riggs I have your photos!" Mana called running to us. He tripped and fell on a rock.
"Mana are you ok?" I asked. He got up with out a problem. Between that and slipping on a rock Mana is like superman.
"I'm splended, thank you." He said. He walked over and handed he a stack of photos. I looked through them laughing at Chandler eating snails. It's been amazing here.
"Thank you, Mana!" Chandler said shaking his hand.
"You two have been my favorite to tour around. You are always up for anything and enjoy yourselfs. I'm going to miss making mr. Riggs eat weird food." Mana said
"Haha. We are going to miss you too Mana." I said
"I'll let you two enjoy your last day, bye."
"Bye Mana!" I called as he left the sandy beach. Mana was really nice, he always made sure that we were happy, and we were. Chandler walked over as he towered over we with his arms out he said
"Come on I want to swim."
"I'm working on my tan." I said
"No, up,up,up." He said. I put my hands in his and he pulled me up. We ran to the ocean and stood there starting at the gorgeous island as waves crashed into us. This was a memorable moment. We asked a tourist to take a picture of us kissing in the sun light just barley touching the waters edge. After handing us back the camera I set it down and Chandler pulled me into the ocean.
"Ah! Chandler!" I yelled. We swam and swam. After a bit we got snorckles and were snorkeling underwater watching the fish.
"It's nemo!" I said pointing to an orange clown fish.
"And dory." Chandler said. We packed us our things off the beach and went to a place to et down the streets, not wanting to bother Mana for a ride. We went to a place called Pink Coconut. They had delicious food and we had a beautiful view of the beach. I ordered scrimp and Chandler ordered crab.
"I love the sea food here! It is nothing like the U.S" I said
"It's very fresh." He said
"So how is your fist 4 days of being married?" Chandler asked
"Eh." I said
"What?! I loved it! I got to spend my honeymoon with the most amazing girl of my dreams!" He said
"No, I love it. You make everything more dangerous and existing!" I said
"How?" He asked
"Eating snails is exciting and going swimming in a waterfall and posibly getting a parasite is dangerous."
"Those snails were something else." He said
"What are we doing wen we get back?" He asked
"Unpack, laundry, go to work." I said
"Wow. Sounds like fun."
"It's part if being an adult." I said pointing my fork at him.
"We could see a movie." He said
"At home?" I asked
"Sure."
"Flat in our stars?" I asked
"Your pushing it." He said
"What would you prefer?" I asked
"the little mermaid, your favorite movie." He said
"Deal." I said.
"alright we need to get back to the hotel to shower before out plane." He said
"Wen does it leave?"
"We need to leave for the airport in 2 hours." He says looking at his watch.

We are at our hotel room and Chandler is in the shower. I am watching finding nemo on the Tv. I actually hate this movie but I'm board so... Yup.
"Hurry, your turn." Chandler says coming out of the bathroom.
"K." I said. I got in the shower and quickly got out. I put clean clothes on and we checked out of our room. In the lobby we are sitting down waiting for Mana.
"I don't want o leave." I say fake crying
"I know, but don't you want to sleep in your own bed and have clean clothes?" He asked
"Yes but this place is so amazing!" I said
"I know but we have chapters to start of our own back home." He said. I laughed
"Your rhymeing makes it not serious." I said he laughed. Mana pulled in from of the hotel and we got in the car. We got in and headed for the airport. We went through security...yada yada. Now we are waiting for our plane to be boarded. We just sit there taking in our last breathes of Tahiti. We boards the plane and take off. Wren wasn't on this flight. We did touch the plane before we got on. The plane had some turbulence but all was well wen we landed in SLC in the middle of the night. We were so popped we got our luggage and headed home. On our way out I payed for parking. We opened the door to our apartment. Clean as usual. I set my stuff down and plopped on the couch. Chandler did the same. We turned on our phones and we both got the same message from our parents: TREVOR IS IN THE HOSPITAL, call me wen you get this!
