Cherishing You

Funny how the world keeps moving on,
When here with you it seems like time never goes,
That these moments we share will forever glow,
That as I lay my lips on yours,
the world will be cured,
Of all its curse and be as pure as a newborn baby.

Isn't it just funny what love can do to you,
Isn't it funny how it makes you giggle,
Like you did when you were two.

Love is the force that makes life worth living,
It brings us joy and happiness,
and fills our hearts with giving.

So, let me cherish this very moment with you,
As we hold each other close,
For in each other's arms,
Is where we'll find love's sweet repose.
