To All My Exes

To all my exes, our time was sweet
Moments we shared, fair and neat
No regrets, but you weren't my person
That's okay, it's not worsen
We'll part as friends, that's just fine
No shattered dreams, no broken line
To some of you, love was true
A friendship love, that's all I knew
To some, I never loved at all
But I didn't want you to fall
I lied and said, "I love you"
Maybe those words, I should eschew
To others, it's overdue
Better out of my life, it's true
To those who know themselves so well
I don't miss you, no love to dwell
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bitter
Nor am I mad, nor a quitter
To all my exes, one thing's true
A part of me will always be glad
That I've met all of you!
