And maybe true love's just a dream,
A fantasy, or so it seems,
For if you can toss it all aside,
Was it ever love, or just a lie?"I love you," your words were sweet,
But behind my back, you chose to cheat,
And still, my love, I forgave,
Though my heart felt like a grave. For when I said "I love you, too,"
I meant it with my heart so true,
But you just spoke a script of lies,
And left my heart to slowly die.So maybe love's not what we thought,
Maybe it's just a dream we've bought,
And in the end, it's just me and you,
I loved with my soul, while you just said the words you knew.So this isn't love, it's just a game,
And there's no reason to hold out in vain.
