🕵🏿♀️
Exactly thirty minutes later, Loriatte and Zayden pulled into an open parking space in front of the bar. Zayden turned off his car and waited for Loriatte to finish touching up her makeup.
The air in the car had been so tight and hot for Zayden during the entire ride, he just couldn't wrap his head around how beautiful Loriatte was.
When she had come out of her room in a scandalously short silk red dress with an open back and a sweetheart neckline, and a slit on the side which ended at her upper thigh as if the dress wasn't already short enough, Zayden had nearly lost his breath. She paired the dress up with matching red ankle strap stilettos and her hair was in a high bun with a few loose curls.
Zayden had to hold himself back from throwing her over his shoulder and taking her to his room, forgetting about Doug and the stupid case, he would've much rather loved to investigate her body and those brown legs that he wanted wrapped around him.
He had felt his pants tighten as he watched her take slow steps down the stairs as if teasing him, the dress hugged her perfectly and accentuated every curve and dip on her body, making him want to hold her close and run his hands all over her, he was torn between telling her to go back upstairs and change into something a bit more decent, and slowly peeling the dress off her body himself with his bare teeth.
The long car ride to the club was quiet and painful for Zayden, who had to act calm and collected as if he wasn't rocking two painful blue balls, as a literal Goddess sat in his passengers seat.
"Why are you trying to impress criminals?"
She ignored his question and continued reapplying her lip gloss, as if it wasn't already shining enough.
His Adam's apple bopped as he swallowed spit, watching her glossed full lips rub against each other, and he wanted nothing more than to claim those lips with his and tell her exactly how her lipgloss tasted.
"Is Doug still coming?"
Zayden did a double take at her question, then scoffed as a frown appeared on his face, eyeing her up and down, "Doug?" he asked, not believing that she was interested in someone like Doug.
Doug.
Doug of all people.
Loriatte turned to him with a bored expression on her face, "yes 'Doug', your ex-BFF turned FBI agent."
"He's not my anything," he scrunched up his face.
"What's up bestie!"
Loriatte smirked in amusement when Zayden jumped in surprise from Doug's sudden appearance. Doug pressed his face against the driver's window, waving happily at the two, his voice coming out muffled when he asked Zayden to roll down the window.
Zayden slowly shook his head, going even further as to press lock button on the door.
Loriatte shook her head then jumped out of the car after unlocking the passengers door. She smoothed down the fabric of her dress, making sure nothing was out of place.
Doug stepped around the car and instantly reached for her hand, laying a kiss on her knuckles with a charming smile on his face. He looked good in a full black suit, his blonde hair tied in a low ponytail, he even looked like a serious person. "My my, you are simply breathtaking. I see why Zayden has his eyes glued to you."
Loriatte decided to ignore the last statement, "Doug. Can't say I'm all that thrilled to see you again so soon, but you make Zayden uncomfortable, so I don't mind."
