The truck and van continue driving on the freeway, and they make it to the town. They drive past the sign, and head right for the market. The truck and van park in front of the store. As everyone gets out, they see Melvin throwing his ball on the windshield of a car. They all walk to the door.
Val: Hey, pizza face!
Earl: Melvin? Melvin! You touch that truck and die.
Melvin: (Mocks) Oh, man, I'm really shaking.
Riku: (Glares) You're gonna be shaking for real if you do hit the truck and our van with that ball. You really wanna find out what's gonna happen to you?
Kairi and Sora hold him back, and pull him to the door. They don't wanna see him hurt someone bad. They all go inside. Brenda with her parents, getting stuff from Walter. He gives Burt bullets, and he checks them out.
Burt: Thanks, Walter. Look, these are hollow points, but they're not Hydrashok hollow points.
Walter: Excuse me, I thought bullets were bullets.
Brenda: Daddy, don't be hard on him. He doesn't know bullets that well.
Heather: (Sees Val, Earl, and the kids) Hi, guys. What you been doing?
Sora: Just finished setting the barbed wire fences.
Val: And we ran into that new college student, that Rona.
Earl: Rhonda. Yeah, she's having trouble with her, uh, uh, things.
Walter walks over to them, and gives Val and Earl their drinks to doing the fences. And he gives Sora and his friends some chips and ice cream for helping them out. They start eating their ice cream first.
Burt: You know, those college kids turn up oil or uranium or something out there. Next thing the feds will be at our door. "Sorry. Time to move. Eminent domain."
Heather: (Pats his shoulder) Down, honey. Down.
Val: Yeah, Burt. The way you worry, you'll have a heart attack before you get a chance to survive World War 3.
Brenda laughs at that as her mother chuckles too. Burt smirks.
Burt: We'll see. We'll see.
Just then, the soda coller starts whirring. Walter looks at it.
Walter: (To Val and Earl) Hey, guys, listen. Bearing going out. What do you think?
Val: Could be.
Earl: (Stops him) Catch you later, Chang. We got a schedule to keep.
Val: Oh, yeah. See, we plan ahead. That way we don't do anything right now. Earl explained it to me.
The heroes all chuckle at that as they continue eating their ice cream.
Sora: Walter, have you seen our friends?
Walter: Yeah. They're at the hotel.
Sora: Ok. We'll talk to them for a bit. Val and Earl, we'll be right with you.
Earl: Ok.
They all walk out of the store. Val and Earl head to where the garbage is at. And the heroes head to the hotel to talk to their friends. They walk inside, and they see their friends talking to the sheriff and Cole.
Ruby: Hey, guys.
Sora: Hey. Sheriff?
Danny: Yes?
Sora: Do you know if anyone is drilling or blasting around here?
Danny: No, not that I know of.
Riku: Hmm. Because that new college student, she said she's been getting strange reading around here.
Danny: Well, like I said, I don't know. If there are, I didn't see anyone.
Jaune: Is there something going on, Sora?
Sora: We don't think so. I'm sure it's nothing. Well, we're gonna be helping Val and Earl with the garbage.
Cole: Alright. You're all really enjoying helping us in our town, huh?
Donald: Yeah. Because it's the right thing to do.
Danny: Anyway, I came in here because I need to ask you something. Has anybody seen Edgar anywhere?
The heroes look at him. Edgar is a local resident to the town. They've met him once, but hadn't seen him since.
Goofy: No, sheriff. We haven't seen him.
Cole: It's true. He hasn't come in here for a while. He's not in his home?
Danny: No. He hasn't been seen for four days.
Momo: Four days? Where does he like to go sometimes?
Danny: He likes to walk to Bixby by foot sometimes. He's probably doing that. And he's probably passed out drunk over there.
Cole: He'll come back. He'll be coming back in a few hours.
Danny: Alright. Thank you. (Sighs) But I swear, if he does this more, I'm gonna have to lock him up for disappearing like that.
He walks out of the hotel. Sora, Riku, and Roxas walk out of the hotel too go help Val and Earl. Kai, Toji, Jaune, Ren, and Yuu decides to go out to help too. For they should help them out. Meanwhile, in the desert, something moves through the dirt and sand. Dungeon Worm is moving through the desert underground. He's traveling with something, making a rumbling noise everywhere. They spot Rhonda ahead, doing her business on her machine. Then, she starts packing things up. Dungeon Worm moves towards her. She walks to her truck, and puts everything in the back. And she walks to her driver door. And she makes it before Dungeon Worm could get her from under. Then it watches her drive away. Then, it goes back underground, and joins its new friends to cause trouble...and death.
Here's the third chapter of Kingdom Hearts: Tremors. Looks like Dungeon Worm is now on the move with the other worms. And they're gonna give the heroes and locals a lot of bad things.
