Everyone is still trying to figure out who is gonna go to the trail.
Earl: It's gonna take us days to get back with help with Nestor. We're not gonna leave you alone.
Danny: Well, we need someone to go to the trail. And you guys' truck is the only one left to go up there, along with my truck. But I can't leave the town unprotected. I'm the only police officer here.
Sora: Well, maybe--
Just then, they all hear Melvin screaming outside. They all look at the window. Earl, Yang, and Nora look with angry looks on their faces.
Yang: Ok, that's it!
Earl: Dang it! I'm gonna kick his butt!
Nora: I'm gonna break his legs!
Val: I'm gonna help you.
They all get up, and walk outside. They go to the side of the store, and look around for Melvin, but don't see him.
Val: Melvin! Where is that little crap stain?
Yang: Melvin, I'm gonna pound you hard!
Nora: (Looks around) Where are you? It won't do you no good hiding from us!
Ren: Nora, calm down. I know you're mad, but calm down.
Nora: He needs to learn his lesson. Melvin, the longer we look, the madder we get!
Namine: Uh, guys?
She points up, and they look up. Melvin is top of the light pole, holding onto tight as he whimpers.
Earl: Melvin, get your...
Then, they all look at each other, realizing that he wasn't faking this time. Then, a Graboid comes out from under. They all move out of the way.
Sora: Watch out!
Earl: Get inside! Get inside!
Danny pulls out his pistol as Melvin climbs back down. It shoots out its snakes at Val and Sora, who dodge them. Danny shoots at the worm, which moves down. Nestor runs to his home as Melvin runs into a shed. The rest of the others run for the store to get inside.
Riku: Run! Come on!
Earl: Come on, get in!
They all rush inside and stay in.
Miguel: Gee whiz, Walter, you got a gun?
Walter: No! What are we gonna do?
Rhonda: Be quiet, quiet, quiet!
Earl: Where is he?
Then, rumbling is heard under the store. They all look around as everything in the store shakes. Danny keeps his gun out as he points it at the floor. The floor creeks as it moves under. The shelves all shake too.
Kairi: What are we gonna do, Rhonda?
Rhonda: (Whispering) Now remember, no noise, no vibrations.
They all agree, and keep quiet. Just then, they all hear something outside. A pogo stick bounching. Their eyes widen, knowing who's doing that. They all quietly and carefully walk outside, and they all see Mindy playing on her pogo stick. Zwei is with her, walking with her.
Rhonda: Oh, no, Mindy.
Ruby: (Gasps) Zwei.
Kai: Mindy, stop bounching.
Earl: Stop, stop.
Miguel: Mindy, get off the pogo stick.
Ruby: Zwei, come here, boy. Come here.
