The truck and dragons make it back to town, and they're in the store, talking to the locals. Walter is trying to reach Burt and Heather on his radio. They tell them about the worms while eating and drinking. Kairi holds Sora's hand as they talk. The locals are hardly buying the information they're getting.

Cole: But hold on. We only saw the snake creatures. That's not them?

Val: No! No! No! The snake things are just their tongues or something. These animals are huge!

Nancy: I'm sorry. I'm having a real difficult time with this.

Riku: We don't blame you.

Danny: But if they're telling the truth, then we have a big situation on our hands now. And two more people are dead. Jim and his wife.

Walter: Come on, you guys, answer. Come back.

Earl: (Looks at him) Hey, Walter. Where's Burt, Heather and Brenda?

Walter: I can't reach them. (Puts down the radio, and walks over) I guess they're still driving around somewhere.

Miguel: Hey, Rhonda, what's the name you call those things?

Walter: Where do they come from?

Rhonda: Huh? (Looks at everyone) I don't know.

Walter: You're a scientist, aren't you?

Melvin: Yeah, aren't you supposed to have a theory or something?

Rhonda: (Looks at him, and at everyone) Look, these creatures are absolutely unprecedented.

Nestor: Yeah. But where do they come from?

Miguel: Yeah!

Ruby: Well, we think they came from...underground somewhere. We don't really know.

Earl: It doesn't matter where they come from.

Walter: No name? Ha! We discovered them, we should name them!

Val: Walter, forget the dang name! Now me and Earl think we better get the heck out of this valley. Sheriff, I think it's the safe thing to do right now.

Danny: Val, we can't. The road is still out, and none of our vehicles can get through the rockslide.

Nestor: He's right. Besides, let's not go off half-cocked.

Nancy: Yeah. Well, somebody's bound to come check on us, once they see the road is out and the lines are down.

Nestor: Yeah, that's how it works.

Cole: Yeah. It's been two days. Somebody probably saw the rockslide on the road, and they must have called somebody else by now. And they're gonna work on the road to get to us.

Weiss: But that could take hours or days.

Toji: Yeah. And with those things roaming around out there? We'll all starve to death if they keep us trapped here.

Danny: Don't worry. I'm sure somebody is at the rockslide right now, working. For now, let's just stay put and wait.

Little do they all know, someone did discover the rockslide, and sent some workers to work on it. But as they were gonna work, they get ambush by Dungeon Worm from underneath, and it kills them all. Their remains, equipment, and helmets are all that's left, all bloody. Flies are buzzing around them as Dungeon Worm finishes chewing on a leg, and swallows it. He roars, and dives back underground. Back at the town, Walter and Melvin are working on giving a name for the worms. And the rest are trying to figure out what to do.
