Y/N and Peter were working in the labs working on a device, it was hilt on a sword. It had a small button on it.

"We're seriously building a dummy lightsaber?"

"Yep, produces a beam like in the film and works like in the films but instead of killing or dismembering you it just tickles you." Y/N said as he activated it.

"We are so gonna win." Pete said as he looked at the beam emerging from the hilt, Pietro, Wanda and Tony walked into the labs to see the beam.

"Can you two turn the music do- What the hell!" Tony exclaimed at the sight of the lightsaber.

"Science project." Y/N answered as he tweaked his saber.

"You made lightsabers...for science class?"

"Well I was thinking of a sonic screwdriver but thought a lightsaber would be better to show off." Y/N said as he saw Wanda and Pietro's faces drop.

"Well, looks like we're failing." Wanda said to Pietro who sighed.

"Why?"

"We're building a nano glove."

"Why not use the one I made when I needed to rescue you guys?"

"We didn't think you'd let us." Wanda answered as Y/N pressed the button on his watch HUD.

"There you go, demo mode authorities have been given to Wanda and Pietro Maximoff/ Romanoff." Y/N said as he looked at the blueprints for the sabers.

"Thanks."

"Sure, by the way if you win I get your answers to the maths work." Y/N said as he started the saber and waved it around for a short time.

"Y/N, can I talk to you for a moment?" Tony said as he pulled Y/N to one side.

"Something wrong?"

"I know it's not my place but have you gotten any sleep since starting the project?"

"What time is it?"

"It's 08:30 AM on Sunday."

"Okay, we've been at this thing for two days, well, I have, Peter went out for food and went home to see May a few times."

"Kid, you've been working on that non stop for three days straight."

"Point?"

"Something you want to talk about, any reason you're throwing yourself at work like you're me on extra doses of coffee?"

"No, I'm just not tired."

"Have you at least eaten in the past three days?"

"Yeah, course, a few sandwiches, a shower here and there, bathroom break whenever I need it."

"So all you've had to eat over the past three days is a sandwich?"

"Well my metabolism works so that I can go for long periods without food and keep in good shape."

"Well I'd prefer if you didn't test that theory. Just, try and keep track of time and all that stuff yeah." Tony said as he let Y/N leave.

"You think these are ready for class tomorrow?" Y/N asked Peter as he walked up to the flask marked 'Y/N' and took a sip from it.

"Yeah, look I've got a patrol but if anything comes up text me okay." Peter said as Y/N nodded.

Then it was back to the regularly scheduled timetable of boredom with nothing to do. Y/N was found by Nat, he was sleeping on the couch in the common room with his headphones plugged into his watch and a book over his face.
