The Endgame

Y/N was stood with Clint outside the compound while the gauntlet was being built, Clint was holding him, the boy wouldn't stop crying. He'd just lost his mother, first his sister, then his brother, now his mother, he had no one left, no Amy, no Wanda, no Peter, no one. Y/N looked up to the sky and made a silent promise, he would stop anything like the snap from ever happening again.

"Did she have any family?" Tony asked Steve as Y/N walked in to see the gauntlet.

"Yeah, the kids and us."

"She had a mother, the father died in a gulag, she had Yelena, when they come back i'll tell them, personally. But for now, I'm the last Romanoff." Y/N said as Steve pulled the boy in to a hug.

"Y/N, we know what you're planning..."

"Don't try and stop me, because I just lost my mother and right now I don't care about my own health, I'm bringing them back." Y/N snapped as he looked at them both, his eyes saying that his old self that Nat loved had fully returned but his anger had returned too, his anger mostly to himself.

Y/N picked up the gauntlet and put it on, the energy coursing through him, he screamed as he felt the same strange sensation in his hands, his body was absorbing something from the stones, like it was feeding on them.

Y/N looked around and snapped his fingers without hesitation, there was a long pause before it was broken by birdsong and Clint's phone going off. Y/N was unharmed by the snap, his arm wasn't burned, it was like he was immune to the negative effects of the gauntlet. He looked at the avengers as he felt his phone vibrate, he looked down at his phone to see it on the news, billions brought back to life in the blink of an eye. Any celebrations would be short lived however as they looked up at the sky to see Sanctuary II begin to rain missiles from above. The missiles burst through the windows and the building shook, the entire compound was beginning to crumble as the team scrambled for safety.

Y/N fell through a hole in the wall and hit his head on a slab of concrete, when he woke up he saw Thanos and his armies gathered and the Avengers rallied, an all out war was about to break out and regardless of who won, people would die. he grabbed a megaphone and used the sonic screwdriver he built for science class to amplify it so everyone on the battlefield could hear it, they were all about to attack when both sides stopped at the sound of the megaphone screeching slightly.

"Oops, sorry about that, not used to these things. Hello Upstate! Who has the gauntlet, has the universe, but bad news everyone...guess who. Ha. Listen you lot you're all whizzing about, it's very irritating, could you all just stay still for a moment because I. AM. TALKING!" Y/N said as he stood in the no mans land between both armies the ships ground to a halt at his command all waiting to hear what this boy had to say. "Now, the question of the hour is, who's got the gauntlet? Answer, I have, next question, who's going to take it from me?"

Y/N held his arms out inviting anyone to make a move as he practically squared up to the two armies.
