Y/N was sat in the living room thinking about whether he would ever see his siblings again, thinking about everyone he had hurt when ordered to by HYDRA. The Avengers had left him in the hope of finding Wanda and Pietro.

He walked out of the tower with his keys and out onto the cold streets of New York, his face marked with the bruises from his fights. As he walked down the street he was glared at by the passers by, his face drawing attention.

As he stepped into the coffee shop, he spots Amy sitting by the window, with a coffee, he walked up to the seat next to her and sat down.

"How are you holding up?" Amy asked as Y/N gave a brief look to her.

"Can I tell you the truth?"

"Of course."

"I'm...scared, what if I'm too late to save them?" Y/N asked as Amy gave a tut.

"You won't be,if you want my advice, go make yourself a suit to help you and then find your brother and sister." Amy said as she held Y/Ns hand.

Y/N nodded and walked outside after paying the bill, he was stopped by Fury waiting for him.

"So, Mr Romanoff, you'll want the people outside of your group of friends to forget you're related to Nat?"

"Yes sir, Flash, Bell and anyone outside of the list I sent you. How are you gonna make them forget?"

"You ever watch men in black?"

"You're gonna neuralize them?"

"Something like that but minus the suits and shades. The list, Peter Parker, Amy Wilkinson, Ned Leeds, MJ, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales, you sure that you want any of them knowing your identity."

"I'm sure."

"Then go about your day, by the time tomorrow comes only your family and friends will know of your identity." Fury said as he got into an SUV driven by Maria Hill.

"Miss." Y/N acknowledged as he done a two finger salute to them. Hill smirked, Fury just dismissed it as Y/N disappeared into a crowd.

"How the hell does that motherfucker do that?" Fury whispered as Hill drove off.

That day Y/N worked in Tony and Bruce's labs building a suit for himself to help rescue his siblings.

"FRIDAY can you compare the circuitry to Tony's suit see if the flight systems are the same?"

"I'm afraid you don't have access to the files."

"Tell you what, you give me access and I don't tell Tony that you forgot to put those requests in last week, got it?" Y/N responded as FRIDAY gave him access. "I'll take the fall for this, I'll tell him I know overrides for you or something."

"Thanks boss."

"Oh no, Tony's the boss, I'm just the stupid kid who...is building a suit from scraps." Y/N said as he checked out the suit pieces. it was a small pair of bracelets that turned into iron man style gloves, an earpiece that became a helmet and a medallion that turned into the torso area of an iron man suit but with a jet pack in it.

"Okay, FRIDAY, you with me here?"

"Yes Mr Romanoff."

"Y/N is fine."

"Yes sir. I'm with you, all functions nominal, where are we headed?"

"Sokovia." Y/N said as he took flight. "Holy Shit, fuck private jets this is way better!"

Y/N had not only made himself a suit, he'd also made it so the shortest life span it had when all systems were running was four days, the longest being four weeks.
