Y/N and Yelena were in the bunk-bed in the morning, both on their phones and talking to one another, Yelena pulled the age card on Y/N and claimed the top bunk, leaving stuck on the bottom bunk.

"Who's our first ally?"

"An archer, calls herself the worlds greatest archer, bit of a stretch but still, she's like you but Clint style." Y/N said as he showed Yelena the photo.

"Kate Bishop, so how are we going to recruit her?"

"Tell her Hawkeye and the Avengers need her help, she's a good person, just a little rough around the edges, I'm thinking we recruit her into the Avengers and work on areas she lacks in."

"High praise for you to be calling someone a good person."

"Not really, just means you have to be better than me." Y/N said as Yelena leaned over the top bunk to look down at Y/N and furrow her brows.

"You're doing it again, blaming yourself for something." Yelena said as Y/N scoffed.

"Aunt Yelena, believe me, that guilt I have is buried deep enough that not even Wanda can reach it, so please don't assume anyone else can." Y/N said coldly as he stood up and got changed into some spare clothes he retrieved from his room in the tower while him and Yelena were settling into the spare room at Peggy's.

"I know." Yelena said as she saw Y/N's scar on his arm. "Nat wasn't lying when she said your arm looked like it had been attacked with a machete."

"chainsaw actually, HYDRA wanted to test my blood flow that they mutated, lucky for me I bled out four times slower than the normal human, I gave myself first aid, some of my mutations were still coming to fruition, the wound was infected and I had to steal some medical supplies to fix it, when the doctors there saw it they came up with the idea to make me invulnerable to wounds getting infected, that evolved in making me immune to toxins and other ailments as well." Y/N said as Yelena looked at him in horror.

"How did you survive that place with your humanity?"

"Simple, I met Wanda and Pietro." Y/N said as he left the room to allow Yelena to get changed.

Y/N was in the middle of making himself some toast when Steve walked in with Peggy.

"So, Y/N...besides what you have told me and Steve, is there any more news?" Carter said as Y/N paused.

"I proposed to Amy, and she said yes." Y/N announced as Peggy grew confused about who Amy was, Steve was already up and hugging his nephew.

"Who's Amy?" Peggy asked as Steve ruffled Y/Ns hair.

"A girl from his class in school, they've been dating for over five years if you include the blip. Peg, if you met her you two would get on like a house of fire." Steve said as Y/N gave a nervous laugh that both of them caught onto. "There's something else isn't there?"

"An unknown group attempted to break Dreykov and Lovanya out of the RAFT. They nearly did too." Y/N said as Steve looked at him shaking his head.

"You should have contacted me, I'd have helped."

"That's why I didn't contact you, you're retired, besides we had it handled until mustache man arrested us all." Y/N said as he grabbed the toast and put it on a plate.

"Who are Dreykov and Lovanya again?" Peggy asked as Y/N went silent.

"His biological parents. They gave him to HYDRA for experiments, he was tortured and experimented on until we found him when he was 15, he'd been there since birth, Dreykov and Lovanya ran something called the Red Room that took young girls and turned them into the perfect assassins." Steve explained as Y/N swiftly ate his toast and cleaned his plate in the sink.
