My Son

Y/N looked to Nat with shock as he tried to process what FRIDAY had said. Nat saw the dread on Y/N's face and headed over to the kitchen table and pulled a glock 19 out from under the table, as she headed to the elevator Y/N was holding the doors for her.

"I need some questions answered before you kill her." Y/N said, the dread on his face telling a different story than the rage in his voice, Wanda didn't need to read Y/N's mind to know it was moving at a million miles an hour.

As Y/N stormed up to the entrance he saw the receptionist holding his mother back.

"Hello Son." She said as Y/N clenched his hands into fists having to restrain from attacking her.

"I'm not your son, you gave up any right you had to call me son when you killed dad and left me to be experimented on by HYDRA for fifteen years." Y/N said as he heard the elevator doors open behind him and the team stepping out of the lift.

The entire team was suited up and ready for a fight.

"Speaking of which, why did you kill dad and abandon me to 15 years of perpetual agony and torture?" Y/N asked as his mother smirked.

"Why are you here?" Nat asked as she kept the glock pointed at Y/N's mother.

"I'm here to retrieve my son. I have an offer for you Y/N, come with me and you'll have yourself a way to bring back your little girlfriend."

"She's dead." Y/N answered coldly, his emotional barriers raised.

"What if I told you there's an artifact out there that can bring her back, no catch like a curse, she can come back just like she was."

"I'd tell you that you're full of it."

"Too good to be true, I know how it sounds, but it's true, you can bring your precious Amy back."

"Why tell me any of this?" Y/N said with venom in his voice.

"Because you might want to know that there are other interested parties after the artifact."

"What's the artifact called?" Y/N asked as he stayed ready for a fight.

"An infinity stone."

"The infinity stones can't be wielded by anyone who isn't a celestial." Thor said, his interest piqued by the mention of the infinity stones.

"Making them dangerous but also pointless." Y/N said as Natasha smirked. "These other parties, who are they?"

"HYDRA and the Red Room have united to find the stone, but the odds are that they'll turn on one another in order to obtain it, so my employer wants me to obtain the stone."

"Your employer being A.I.M?" Y/N assumed as he was ready to allow the Avengers to attack his mother. "Why are you here then?"

"I need someone who can obtain it, someone with a particular set of skills."

"You mean me?" Y/N said as he scoffed

"Yes, think about it Y/N, we can be a real family, have some quality time together..."

"Qualtiy time? It's a bit late for that isn't it, I don't need someone to tie my shoelaces, to show me how to read, or how to write, or how to use the bathroom." Y/N returned.

"You and me...we can still be a family..."

"I have a family, you're looking at them." Y/N said as he turned to look at Wanda. "Wands, can you and Mum show her the door."

Y/N headed to the elevator, his heart aching this was his chance to save Amy and he had to pass it up, no one should have the power to change the rules of life and death. As he headed to his room, he saw a shadowy figure run past him followed by disembodied laughter.

"Great, Tony must have set up a haunted house thing for Halloween on Sunday." Y/N said to himself as he headed to his room and sat on the end of his bed. He still had so many questions, what was his second name?, why was he so important for getting the stone? Why did she abandon him to HYDRA?

As he sat there trying to calm his nerves Y/N heard something in the gym break.

"The fuck was that?" Y/N said as he got up and headed to the gym. "Pietro if you've broken the treadmill again I'm gonna kick your ass."

When he was in the gym he heard the door lock from behind him.

"Clint, this you playing an elaborate prank on me?" Y/N said as he saw the lockdown shutters close over the window. "FRIDAY, what's going on?"

All that came from the speakers was static.

"Okay, getting a firm horror film feeling from this." Y/N said as he looked for something to pry the door open. "Who the fuck is keeping a katana lying around?"

Y/N picked up the katana and jammed it between the doors, using the sword to pry the doors open, when they opened Y/N could still see the figure from before, it ran past him and to the labs. He walked to the labs and heard Amy's voice.

"I love you."

*Gunshot*

"What the fuck? Why would Tony put this on the haunted house?"Y/N said as he looked for the source. "I'll check in the hub for FRIDAY, see what's happening to the old girl."

Y/N walked down the corridor and found the hub for the towers A.I, but the door didn't open.

"Door doesn't open, okay, not just the gym." Y/N muttered as he tried to open the doors again.

"Y/N, don't give up."

"Amy?" Y/N questioned himself as he looked for the source of the voices.

*Gunshot*

"Amy!"

"No, no, no. Stop!" Y/N called out as he covered his ears.

"You could have brought me back!"

"No, I couldn't." Y/N said as he looked around for Nat or anybody to talk to. "Mum! Wanda! Pietro!"

A pounding sounded through Y/Ns ears.

"Mum!" Y/N called out as Y/N covered his ears.

"Y/N!" Nat called as she sprinted over to him. "Tony , get help on the living floor, something's happening to Y/N."

Y/N was about to resist when he saw Amy stood down the corridor weeping near a gravestone, there was a name but it was unintelligible.

"Y/N, don't give up."

As his vision was consumed by darkness his ear rang out like a flash bang had gone off in his face.

"Y/N stay with my." the muffled voice of Nat said as Y/N felt another presence joining Natasha at his side.

"Prosnis', mladshiy brat. POZHALUYSTA! [ Wake up, baby brother. PLEASE!]" Wanda's voice said as she shook Y/N. Y/N had fallen unconscious by the time he had arrived at the med bay.
