The weekend went by in a flash and all too soon Renjun was saying his goodbyes to his friends.
He helps his mum pack the car with Lucas' and Chenle's bags before driving them to the airport. He watches as they head away from the check in desk and move towards departures, the two boys sending Renjun air kisses and big waves. He waits a few moments until both boys were out of sight before making his way out of the airport and back to his mothers car.

"Thanks mum" he says as he secures his seatbelt in place "it was really nice seeing them again".

His mother gives him a bright smile before leaning over and placing a light kiss to the top of his head "I just want you to be happy here hun" she turns the key and the engine roars to life before she starts to pull out of the car park "I know this has all been a struggle for you, but you're new friends seem lovely, I'm hoping a few more months and you'll feel completely settled".

The truth was Renjun was finding it easier and easier to come to terms with the idea of this being his new home. Obviously he had a certain ghost to thank for that.

It wasn't long before his mother was parking the car back outside of the house. Renjun allows his eyes to wander up to his bedroom window and he spots a familiar dark shadow lingering near the curtains.
The morning after their 'agreement' had been slightly awkward. They'd spent a couple of moments just sat in silence, neither one of them knowing what to say, thankfully Chenle had come running down the hallway towards his room an jeno wasted no time in vanishing.

Now would be the first time he'd have to have a conversation with the ghost without any distractions or interruptions.
Renjun climbs the stairs slowly, wanting to prolong this as much as he could. What was he supposed to say or do? Yeh they could be friends but they could never hang out like real friends do or experience first time problems like real friends do. Outside of this house Jeno didn't exist meanwhile Renjun continued to go out into the world every day and live. The thought made his heart hurt slightly and he trie to think of ways he could bring some sort of life to Jenos boring existence. Obviously nothing physical...not anymore.

Renjun pushes his bedroom door open and sees Jeno st in the window reading Renjuns old and tattered copy of pride and prejudice. The ghost doesn't even look up before saying "can I keep this? It's one of my favourites and I haven't read it in like fifty years".
The brunette laughs a little, not taking Jeno for the 'Mr.Darcy swoony' type of guy. "Sure, its all yours". Rejnun had only purchased a copy as they had to study it in his literature classes back in china, he guessed he kept it as it looked good on his bookshelf. "You ever seen the movie?'

Jenos head snaps up at this and his eyes were wide "there's a movie?!"

"Uh yeah" Renjun says, silently wondering why jeno was acting so casual, maybe the ghost was going to find it easier being just friends than he was "wanna watch it?"

The ghosts smile could have lit a fucking Christmas tree.

'You may only call me mrs. Darcy when you are completely, perfectly, incandescently happy'
Renjun glances over at jeno, mouthing the words with a slight smile on his lips. The two boys had decided to build a fort on the bedroom floor with Renjuns bed sheets and he set up his laptop with the movie. The bowl of popcorn they had been sharing was almost empty and Renjun felt satisfied with his little movie night spent with a friend.

"Did you like it?"Renjun asks as the movie ends and he moves to click off the screen. "I know you're probably going to think the book was better.

The ghost shakes his head quickly "no I loved it. The book is overall better but I've read it so many times, it was refreshing to see a different take on the novel"

Renjun only smiles "good, I'm glad you enjoyed it". He closes up his laptop and leans forward to get the last few pieces of popcorn, Jeno doing the same. Their heads bump into each other and Renjun quickly reaches up to rub his forehead "sorry, you go ahead and have it" he says laughing awkwardly.

The ghost shakes his head and insists Renjun have the last few pieces, only then did he notice how close their faces were, and the brunette couldn't stop his eyes from flicking down to Jenos full lips. He feels his body subconsciously lean in and he quickly stops himself, pulling back and standing, knocking the whole fort down on top of them. "Whoops sorry" he stammers, quickly bundling up the bed sheets in a attempt to free Jeno.

The ghost stands and gives the other boy a weak smile "its late, I should let you sleep" he says, and before Renjun had a chance to protest, Jeno had disappeared. The boy sighs as he throws the sheets back onto his bed and picks up his laptop. The popcorn bowl now sat empty and Renjun smiles at the knowledge that Jeno had eaten the last few pieces.

His mind wanders back to moments before, their faces so close. Why had resisting this damn ghost become so difficult. His mind was constantly plagued with thoughts of Jeno kissing his neck, and pleasuring him, and being so gentle-

No! He had to stop with these thoughts.

"I'm fucked" he mutters as he grabs the empty bowl to take down to the kitchen.
