It took a bit of convincing from both Renjun and Mrs Park to get Jisung to agree to go. The younger boy still seemed a little unsure even when he gave in and agreed.
The restaurant was empty apart from Jisung, Renjun, Mrs Park and obviously Renjun's mother who had just 'coincidentally popped in to say hello'. She looked pretty proud that Renjun was making more friends, and even more proud that he was trying to make sure Jisung felt involved.
"I'm sure his friends really are lovely Jisung, I met Jeno a few weeks ago and he was ever so kind" she says and Renjun was already internally screaming. Of course she'd mention Jeno, the one person he didn't want to think of right now.
Thankfully Jisung doesn't question this any further and only shrugs "I'm sure they're all really nice, I'm just hella awkward" he says a little embarrassed.
"I promise I'll be there with you the whole time, if at any point you wanna leave then we can, but you never know you might have a good time" once Renjun had said this the two boys make their way to Jaemin's house, the whole time Renjun was silently praying that Jaemin wouldn't bring up the whole puddle situation.
He knocks on the door and Jisung hides behind Renjun as best he could, although it didn't really work since the younger boy was much taller than Renjun. They weren't waiting long before the door opens and Jaemin smiles his usual bright smile as he steps out of the house and closes the door.
"Hey, um this is Jisung" Renjun says, pulling the shy boy forward only for him to awkwardly smile."Hey Jisung! Renjun told me about you, I'm Jaemin" he offers another kind smile and this seems to make the younger boy relax a little as he finally lifts his gaze up to meet Jaemin's. "Come on lets leave before my mum notices I'm gone"
The boys rush off down the street, Jaemin occasionally glancing behind them. It was already dark out and the street lamps didn't offer much light so if Jaemin's mum had noticed, she definitely wouldn't be able to find him. "Did you sneak out?" Renjun asks once they had turned the corner at the end of the road.
"No, my mum just has this habit of questioning me on where I'm going and who I'm with, if I'd told her I was leaving I would have been stuck there for another hour whilst she questioned me" he explains and both Rejun and Jisung nod, knowing exactly what it was like to have parents like that.
They carry on walking for a while, the whole time Jaemin starting up a conversation with Jisung, asking about school and bonding over their hatred for the history teacher. It was weird how Jaemin seemed to make everyone feel comfortable around him almost instantly. It made Renjun happy that Jisung had already seemed to take a liking to Jaemin, not being as awkward as he had been before, now laughing and joking around.
Even by the time they had reached Yangyang's house, Jisung seemed a lot more confident when introducing himself and Renjun was suddenly convinced that Jaemin was a miracle worker. They enter the living room where four other boys sat. Renjun recognised two of them as Donghyuck and his boyfriend Mark, each of them offering a smile and wave when they joined the group. The two other boys didn't look familiar although Renjun wasn't wondering for long as they were quick to introduce themselves.
"Hey! I'm Hendery, this is Xiaojun, we're in Mark's grade" one of them says and both Renjun and Jisung smile and introduce themselves. They all chat for a while about anything and everything, laughing when Donghyuck would say something only for it to be backhanded by Jaemin.
After a while Yangyang gets up and disappears into his kitchen before coming back with a bottle. Donghyuck was quick to jump up and take a closer look, his eyes widening and a smile forming on his lips. "Woah where did you get this?" He asks, still examining the glass bottle.
Yangyang only shrugs "my parents don't hide the alcohol very well, and I'm sure they won't notice a bottle missing" he says, reaching for a cabinet full of ornate wine glasses, grabbing a small shot glass. "We're gonna play truth or dare but with a twist"
"Why?" Mark asks and Renjun was pretty sure he had read his mind. He was having a pretty good time just chatting, why was alcohol suddenly involved, who the heck invited it?
"I'm bored, besides it'll be fun" he smiles "don't be such squares" with that he sits down and the boys form a circle on the living room floor.
Renjun glances over at Jisung, but he didn't look phased by this at all. In fact it looked like he was having a better time than Renjun was.
Maybe he was just worrying too much. He needed to enjoy himself more.
"Okay so these are the rules" Yangyang announces as he pours some of the clear liquid into the shot glass "we spin the bottle and whoever it lands on has to pour a shot and drink it before being asked truth or dare"
There seemed to be no point in the 'downing shots' aspect of the game, to Renjun it just sounded like an excuse to get everyone drunk.
"I'll spin!" Donghyuck yells, securing the cap on the bottle before spinning it. They all watch as it turns into a blur as it spins before slowing down and landing on Xiaojun. The boy sighs but picks up the shot glass, downing the contents before looking over expectantly at Donghyuck "truth or dare?"
"Truth"
"Pussy" Donghyuck mutters, obviously not satisfied with the elders choice "Okay, are you secretly an asshole that judges everyone behind their backs?" He asks only to earn a slap on the arm from Mark. "What? There's no way he's always this nice"
"Even if I did judge you all behind your backs, why would I tell you?" Xiaojun says, looking rather smug with himself.
"Because it's truth or dare, meaning you gotta tell the truth" the redhead fires back, already this game had turned into a bit of a mess.
Xiaojun hold his hands up in surrender "fine, no I'm not secretly an asshole"
The game goes on for a while, Yangyang ended having to push a pair of his underwear through his neighbors letter box, Jisung ended up confessing he'd never been kissed which then led to Jaemin being dared to kiss him. Hendery had to try and seduce the pizza delivery guy, Mark ended up sat in Donghyuck's lap much to his dismay, although they were dating it was obvious Mark would have preferred things to be the other way around.
"Jaemin!" Hendery slurred, pointing his finger "truth or dare"
Jaemin smirks, also very tipsy himself after having chosen dare three times and truth twice "dare!"
"I dare you to..." Hendery thinks of a moment, looking around at the group before his eyes settle on Renjun. "...kiss Renjun!"
At this point Jaemin had kissed pretty much everyone.
Jaemin only shrugs, crawling over to the brunette, his face inches away but Renjun leans back, not letting their lips touch. "Come on Renjun it's just a kiss, don't be such a wuss" Jaemin laughs, pressing his palm against Renjun's cheek and bringing his face closer, kissing him rather messily. It lasted a few seconds, long enough to be deemed a real kiss before he moved back to his previous spot.
Renjun was quick to wipe his lips, not liking the kiss one bit.
Jisung was next to spin and he spins it well before it lands on...Renjun.
Wow would you believe his luck!?
"Truth or dare?" Jisung asks as Renjun picks up the shot glass and downed the liquid. He'd taken a shot only a handful of times throughout the game yet the burning at the back of his throat when he swallowed never seemed to get any easier to bare.
"Truth" he says, not in the mood to get up and do anything stupid like give someone a lap dance or run down the street half naked.
Jisung thinks before tilting his head and looking at Renjun "who is Jeno?"
