I was at home when my phone rung and it was Mariah calling. I'm assuming she was calling to tell me how her meeting went.

"What you on slime?" I spoke

"Ouu, you not gonna believe this shit!" Mariah said

"What happened?" I asked

"So tell me why, okay let's go back to when I first got here. Herb sent me a driver named Corbin. So he's cool, he's not the problem. I get to the meeting, get that squared away and Christopher Williams asks me to come hang out on set with him. So I did. But tell me fucking why I get there and he shows me around a lil bit then I end up in Allen Payne's trailer with him, Christopher, and Wesley Snipes, and a couple other people. And I didn't know until Allen spilled the beans. This motherfucker decides he could just sign me up to be in this fucking movie and wants me to just take the roll for free. Like no financial payment or anything and he just tryna make it look cool talking about some, 'its just like a promotional thing and you would be on the movie soundtrack so the appearance in the movie and you being on the motion picture soundtrack would boost your career'. My guy, what if the fucking movie is a flop?!! Then what Mega Mind!!?!" Mariah explained

Shawty said Mega Mind, I'm dead. That shit made me laugh so hard right there.

"Mega Mind." I laughed

"Outta everything I just said, that's all you came away wit'?" Mariah says

"Nah, mane. I'm saying, like that was funny. But anyway, what you finna do about that? Come back home or what?" I asked

"No, I'm taking my ass to sleep. Then in the morning I'm heading back home. But I know one thing, y'all industry niggas starting to piss me off." Mariah says

"What you mean y'all?" I asked

"Y'all. Every nigga in the industry, including you." Mariah said

"How I get thrown in the mix? I ain't did shit." I said

"You cheated on me. You weird for that." Mariah says

"But you ain't cheat on me wit' Polo though?" I asked

"No because I left your ass before I even started dating Polo. So that's not cheating." Mariah said

"Mmm, if you say so. But you still my girl though. You can't just leave me and think I'mma leave it like that." I said

"I ain't your girl. Jessica your girl, Yaya your girl, oops sorry, that's your fiancé. Then let's see, you got all Jessica lil friends that he hanging around, ouu let's not forget you still hung up on Jania, plus, all these other hoes you messing with. All them is your girlfriends, not me boo." Mariah says

"Mane, you know ion want them hoes. But I think you want that nigga Lloyd just as bad as he want you, that's why you'n want me back."

"I don't fucking want him." Mariah said

"Well he sure want you." I said

"Good for him." She says

"Why you'n want me slime?" I asked

"Because you a pittie, boxer, poodle, chihuahua, German shepherd, golden doodle, need I go on?"

"What the fuck you naming allat for?" I asked

"Because you a dog nigga!" Mariah said

"You funny." I laughed

"But no seriously, you can be a good person when you wanna be Kentrell. You just always wanna act so mean and disrespectful and ion understand why." Mariah said

"I know. I'm sorry, I'mma work on being better for you cuz' I love you and I really want you back." I said

"You'll be okay. Should've thought about that before you cheated." Mariah says

"I-- Okay." I said

I ain't tryna hear that shit mane. Is you gon' take me back or not? All I wanna hear is 'yes'. Allat other shit is unnecessary right now, I know what the fuck I did mane damn.

"What you going to Atlanta for?" I asked while frowning

"What?" Mariah said

"Brian just texted me and said he needed Megan and Amelia to come stay wit' me cuz' he meeting you in Atlanta." I said

"He ain't tell me shit 'bout no Atlanta trip. Ion know." She said

"I'mma call you back." I said

"Ight."

What the fuck he taking her to Atlanta for? All this traveling she doing finna fuck around and make me start going with her like a chaperone.

I gotta off the phone with Kentrell and soon as I did, Brian calls me.

"Why Kentrell telling me you just told him you meeting me in Atlanta?" I asked

"Well damn. I'm good, no worries over here. Everything's fine." Brian says

"Ion care if you're fine. What's he talking about?" I asked

"Well that's why I was calling you because I wanted to tell you that. Lil Baby's people reached out to me and they set up a meeting for us to meet with them in Atlanta and they even said they'd pay 500 bucks for our time and travel. I told them I had to check with you first, so you wanna do it or no?" Brian spoke

"When?" I asked

"They never said when exactly because of me saying I needed to talk to you first." Brian says

"Okay, yeah. That's fine, just text me when you get all the information." I said

"Okay, I got you." Brian says

I got off the phone with Brian and turned my attention to the TV. I didn't like what was on so I started scrolling through the channels and just settled on the Disney Channel which had on Kim Possible at the moment.

I am so thankful for all of this success being sent my way because it can help me to take care of my girls and myself and maybe in a couple years, I can start my own little group home. But a better place where kids will actually wanna come and they'll be able to feel safe and happy. But I wonder what price does all of this success come with?
