Dave X Female!Reader 2 (Different from the first)

(Third Person POV)
There she laid under an apple tree, giggling at everything Jade or John said to her. It almost killed him to see her with John, the guy he had a crush on, along with Jade, another girl he liked. (Name) was the person he really liked more though. She would always smile, listen to others and wait her turn. Also she was a very good friend to have and not to mention she was absoulutely gorgeous. She didn't need to be popular for him to like her. Everyone at school believed that though. They all knew Strider could lose his cool around her, and only her. Everyone would video tape him talking with her and post it on Youtube to be jerks. Obviously he would get them back but Strider looked like he was about to pounce in on Jade, John and (Name)'s converstation. "Hey (Name), Jade and John." He says, walking up to them, smiling. "Hey Dave!" Jade says. "Sup dude." (Name) says, trying to be the cool kid and imitate Dave. "Hello Dave." John says. "Where is Rose anyways? She should be here so we can all chat." Dave says, going back to his cool kid face. "Oh. She said her mother needed her and she couldn't come today." (Name) says, smiling. "But it'll be alright Dave. We have the life of the party here." "Haha very funny (Name)." Dave says, chuckling a little. "Ooh is Strider losing his cool around a girl?" A guy from school teases. "Oh and he finally has a girl friend to prove it too." A girl says while walking past the five of them. "Oh please. Not like you could do any better anyways fools." Dave says, glancing at the two. "Maybe we should sing the Tree song to them. The baby 'K.I.S.S.I.N.G song' John, Jade and (Name)." He says, smiling. "Okay. Dawn and Hayden sittin' in a tree. K I S S I N G. First comes LOVE, second comes marriage, third comes the baby in the baby carriage!" The group shouts, smiling as Dawn and Hayden blush. "Haha caught you blushing Dawn." Dave says and takes a picture of them together blushing. "Damn you Strider. At least I will admit I'm in love." Hayden shouts, stomping away into the horizon. "Hey Dave, we gotta go." Jade and John say, walking away and smiling at their possible sucess.

"So how do you think Dave is doing with (Name)?" Jade asks. "I'm not sure Jade but they really belong together. She has a really big crush on him and Strider loses his cool all the time around her. Only if he could actually get his confidence and ask her out already and not worry what people think at school." John says, throwing a rock into the pond nearby. "Yeah. They would be really cute together and (Name) has alot of friends, and isn't part of the "Popular" club. That's what makes her special. She is really pretty and smart and doesn't want to be popular. Strider, on the other hand, wants to be. He could fall for Terezi and everyone would support it, but not with (Name). It truely is upsetting to not see them together." Jade says, sighing a little after every sentence.

"Hey Strider, are you busy tomorrow?" (Name) asks. "Umm I'm not. W-why are you asking?" He says as smoothly as possible. "Oh because everyone was going to get together here tomorrow and throw a party. Wanted to know if you would show up though." She says, smiling ever so slightly. "Yeah I think I can. I have to ask Bro though first." He says, getting up and leaving the park. Hayden and Dawn show back up near the girl and pester her. "So you like Strider, don't you?" Dawn asks. "Why should that concern you anyways Dawn?" She says, glaring at her. "He wouldn't date some low-life idiot like you are. He would if you were actually popular but we would be your friends and you couldn't." Hayden says. The twins were really irratating and (Name) knew that they sucked and had nothing better to do. Dawn pushes (Name) over the edge of the cliff nearby and (Name) hangs from it. Dawn throws a few rocks at Dawn, trying to knock her out. "Stay away from my Strider and you can live fool." She says and walks away, stomping on her hands hard.

<A few minutes later>
Dave comes back with news that he can hang out tomorrow at the party and he couldn't find (Name) |She's on a cliff man, hanging for dear life.| Dave rushes to the spot she once was in and finds her close by. "(Name)!" He shouts, pulling her up to safety. Her eyes stained with tears and were bloodshot. "I will kill her.... and her brother...." She says and passes out, becoming unconsious. "Hello 911. I need help now at the local park in New York." The cool kid says into his phone, tears rushing down his face. "Okay. We will be there as soon as possible. Stay calm sir and we will be there in 3 minutes." The person on the other end says, hanging up. "(N-name)?" Dave says, looking down at her unconsious mind. "I-I love you and don't wanna lose you too...."

<An hour later>

After Dave helped get (Name) into the hospital, he stayed with her and refused to tell anyone about her being in the hospital. "Sir, she is currently in a coma. We are not sure if she is going to... Wake up anytime soon. You might want to go home and get some rest." The doctor says. "It's my duty to protect her and be her knight. I mustn't leave her here by herself." The cool kid says, smiling and hoping the doctor would let him stay. "Fine but you need to be good while you are here. You have my permission to stay after hours from now on until your friend is better." The doctor replies and announces that you can stay after hours to his friends.

<A few hours pass by>

Dave sat there, bored out of his mind and saw a few of his friends (Dawn and Hayden) pass by him. "Wow what happened to that freak?" Dawn says. "Yeah. Maybe you did kill her Dawn." Hayden says, laughing like a fool. "You did WHAT?" Dave says, getting out of his chair, glaring at both of them, with swords in his hands. "W-woah there Strider. I didn't know you actually cared for that peasent." Dawn says, staring at the sword pointed at her. "It's all Dawn's fault Dave. He crushed her hands and threw rocks at her head, wanting her dead because she likes you." Hayden says, pushing the sword out of his sight. "Why would I like Dawn? She tried to kill one of my best friends. Why should I like HER?" Dave asks, pointing both swords at Dawn. "Because you are popular and would love me more than that freakshow." Dawn says, laughing a bit. "Oh really? Then why do I hate you?" Dave says, slamming the door shut on Hayden and Dawn. "Wow. Thanks Hayden. Now he hates me. You're such an ass Hayden for ruining my love life." Dawn says, walking out of the hospital pissed. Hayden follows her at a fast pace, catching up to her as fast as he could.

<Back in the hospital room a few years later>

(Name) sat there in her hospital bed, wordless, and unconsious to reality. She had been sucked up into a nightmare and couldn't wake up. "(Name), I came to bring you flowers." Dave says, placing flowers down next to her bed. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have left you on my own. I knew something would happen but I would blame Jade and John for leaving but it is MY fault for leaving you alone!!! I'm sorry you are in this condition and if you ever wake up, I want you to know I love you (Name). I don't give a fuck what anyone at school thinks. You are precious, beautiful, kind-hearted, sweet and loving. Nobody does it like you (Name). They don't make Strider lose his cool around people like you do. You are mine and only mine darling, but I don't know if you even hear this...." Dave says, tears rushing down his face. He didn't know that (Name) was finally awake until she kissed his forehead. "I love you tol Strider..." She says in tears. "Nobody would've ever said that about me like you did Dave. Love you now, love you forever, love you still." She says, kissing Dave and holding him close to her. "You are mine and only mine Strider. You here me?" She asks. "Loud and clear (Name). Love you alot too." He says, kissing her again.

<A few days later after (Name) leftt the hospital>

Dave and (Name) sat in Dave's room, listening to music when suddenly Dirk had broke down the door. "Bro, what the hell?" Dave says, staring at his guardian. "Oh shit sorry guys. I didn't mean to intrude on your 'date'." He says and walks away slowly. "I bet he wants to see us kiss Strider." She says, smiling widely. "Well-" He says before the girl kisses the cool kid. "Hot damn." Bro says and runs away fangirling over the kiss. "Such an otaku." She says. "Takes one to know one." Strider says. "Oh come on. Maybe I've seen a few good animes in the past but that shouldn't bother you Strider since I am yours." She says, lying down in Strider's lap. "Goodnight darling." Dave says, kissing her forehead goodnight. "Love you Strider, and sleep tight." She says, kissing her Strider goodnight. Bro turns off the lights randomly and runs away shouting "Awwww!"
