You saw a new message appear on your dashboard on Pesterchum. It was from Tavros, the flight believing troll.

CG: WHY THE FUCK WOULD I NOT BE FLIGHT KID?
AT: rUDE,,, bUT NOT THE POINT
CG: WHO ARE YOU CALLING *RUDE*?
AT: uHHH,,, i GUESS NOBODY...
CG: GOOD NOW LEAVE ME ALONE.
CG: STRIDER AND I ARE HANGING LATER ANYWAYS

Shit... Maybe the troll wasn't that bad to hang with but you and Strider had plans later. You had planned to finally ask him to be his 'boyfriend', whatever that meant in human culture. Time surely seemed to pass by slowly though....

"Karkat, are you even here?" Dave asks, banging on your door. "Karkat, y9ur male friend is here!" Kankri shouts. "OH SHIT!" You shout, rushing downstairs and getting your stuff on. "Wow. Glad to finally see you Karkat after your 'vacation' of not visiting me." Dave says, leaning against your wall. "Do you mind doing that somewhere else Strider?" You ask, pushing him off the wall and he starts to tackle you. "69TH 9F Y9U WILL ST9P THIS INSTANT!" Kankri shouts, glaring mostly at you. "Karkat, app9l9gize to 'Strider' this instant f9r pushing him." Kankri says, holding both of his sickles and pointing them at you. "I'm sorry Dave." You say sarcastically. "G99d. N9w this will never happen again 6ecause it c9uld seri9usly trigger s9me9ne Karkat. Y9u d9nt ever realize such language y9u tend t9 use can 6e very triggering t9wards 9thers." He says before glaring at Dave. "I think may6e-" He says before you duct tape his mouth shut and run outside. "Come on Dave." You say, waiting for him to catch up. "Run!!!" You shout, heading towards the lovely park. "You do realize this was not the plan for today, correct?" Dave says cooly. "Then what *was* it Strider?" You ask, giving him the death glare. "Look, I have something to tell you Karkat. I looked up your shitty quadrants and believed that I was going to be your kismesis." He says, cleaning his shades.

Your heart shattered into a thousand different pieces. He had even smashed those to the point of it never being able to be fixed again. "D-did you just say kismesis?" You say, tears forcing their way out of your eyes. "Yeah, and why are you crying Karkat?" He asks. "N-nothing..." You say, rushing away as fast as possible without falling on your face. Obviously you fell into a nearby tree and just passed out at that point.

<Tavros'- Pupa Pan's POV>
"uHH 911. wE uHH,,, hAVE SOMEONE KNOCKED OUT HERE AT THE PARK... nEAR ALTERNIAN HIGH..." You say into the phone. "Okay. Do they seem okay?" The operator says. "wELL,,, nOT REALLY BUT YOU SHOULD HURRY." You say, waiting for the ambulance to arrive. "An ambulance is on the way kid." The operator says and hangs up. Well that could've been worse...You sit and stare up at the clouds, wishing Pupa Pan could finally be with you and grant you the ability to fly. If that would happen, everything would be okay...

"Sir, how do you know 'Karkat'?" Someone asks. "hE'S uHH,,, mY COUSIN." You say, smiling to make it believeable. "Okay. Get on in kid." The doctor says, helping get your wheelchair in the ambulance. You watch the unconsious troll take a nap while rushing to the hospital to make sure he stays alive.

<Cool Kid's POV>
Tavros calls you and you were not aware of the fact that Karkat had to be rushed to the hospital. Why would a loser being hanging out with that emotional freak? You obviously had no clue to why and when Tavros showed up at the park, but maybe you were daydreaming about something.

<An hour later>

"Tavros, why are you watching over Karkat?" You ask. "bECAUSE SOMEBODY HAS TO WATCH HIM,,, aND UHH,,, yOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM..." He says, glaring at you. "Aww but I thought you were the always happy troll." You say sarcastically. "nOW STRIDER,,, iF YOU WOULD PLEASE LEAVE,,, wE WOULDNT HAVE A PROBLEM HERE..." He says, glancing down at something and readjusting his vision towards you. "Whatever." You blurt out and walk out of the hospital. 'Was he really going to kill me? Probably not but maybe he could've if he tried. Nahh you are Dave Strider! He couldn't have killed you.' You think to yourself.

As soon as you get home, you put headphones on and fall asleep to the sound of the music...

<Crabby Troll's POV>
"Tavros, why are you in here and why am I in the hospital?" You ask, trying to be nice. "Oh well uhh, you kinda were unconsious at the park for some reason and I got you here to recover." He says, smiling widely. "Well maybe you should-" You say before he throws a cat in your face. "His name is Fang." He says, smiling and playing with his Pupa Pan collar. "Why did you of all trolls and humans get me a fucking cat?" You ask, rolling your eyes. "Well... Uhhh... I have to go now!" He shouts, rolling his way out of the hospital. 'Well that was strange.' You think to yourself.

<Become Pupa Pan>
You smile as everyone is making Karkat a 'Welcome Home' party as Jade had suggested. She said that Karkat would be thrilled but you thought he would only be enraged... Oh well. If it fails, you have lost every chance at becoming his matesprite for the next few sweeps, so everything had to go as planned. "Please Vriska! I need help hanging this up." Jade says while Vriska shoves her. "Not at all m8. You got it." She says, walkig over to your side. "Why would you let humans actually help us? Couldn't we just kill them instead and just become more superior?" She asks. "Well, Uhhh yeah I guess but wouldn't that be a little uhh,,, extreme?" You say. "Not really." She says, lying down against the wall. "They always are trying to out-smart us and be more superior than us, so maybe we could just kidnap the humans and kill them all." She says, yawning and falling asleep. "Well uhh, be yourself for once and actually have the guts to uhh, ask John to be your matesprite here at the party." You reply, smiling ever so delicately. "Hopefully that works Pupa Pan." She replies before falling asleep. "I hope John loves you too Vriska." You say, kissing her forehead goodnight, well more of goodafternoon.

<Two hours later>

"Tavros, he's almost here!!!" Jade shouts, turning off the lights and everyone hiding in his hive. Karkat opens the door and says "Why is it so dark in here?"

"WELCOME BACK KARKAT!" Everyone shouts. John runs up to Karkat and hugs him. "Please tell me you didn't fucking plan this shitty get together John." He says. "Actually I didn't. Someone that cares for you did though." John replies. Fang runs over to you and starts to rub on you. Karkat looks at his cat and you look away. "T-Tavros?" Karkat says. "Uhhh, yeah Karkat?" You ask. "D-did you do this?" He asks. "M-mhm...." You stutter out. Karkat hugs you and smiles. "Thanks Pupa Pan for this." He says, kissing your forehead. You begin to flush a little at your flush crush and you bring your arms around him, bringing him down into a hug. "Uhh, I like you Karkat..." You say, feeling embarrassed. "It's fine Tav. I hate Strider anyways, so you aren't in the way anymore. You can be my fucking matesprite if it makes you happy." He says soothingly. "T-thanks Karkat." You whisper as Strider approaches. "Hey Karkat. I actually didn't mean kismesis earlier. I meant matesprite." He says. Karkat does his famous crab dance and flips Strider off. By the end of it you are on the floor rolling around and Vriska finally wakes up to John in her face. "May I have this dance milady?" John asks Vriska. "Of course John~" She says, having a little hop in her step as she gets up. You and Karkat slow dance only because you can't actually walk, and Vriska and John dance their hardest because they are hardcore. "John, would you mind being my matesprite?" She asks, looking over at you. "Of course I wouldn't mind Vriska. Wow, now that you said it, I didn't have to." He says, pulling her in for a kiss. You look at Karkat and both of you kiss. Strider actually throws up during it, but you intended on making him for being such a jerk to Karkat and crushing his heart. "Strider lost his cool!" Karkat says, punching Sstrider in the face and shouting "I would never be your matesprite Dave!" Over and over again.

A few minutes later Vriska walks up to you, away from John and smiles for the first time in forever. "Sorry for always making fun of you Tavros. I never knew how it felt to be scared until I asked John to be my matesprite, thanks to your advice earlier." She says, smiling really big and actually not being a bad person- Troll for once. "No problem and appology accepted. You needed to be happy anyways soon. I always missed that actual smile of yours uhh, anyways. So shouldn't you be with the uhh, human now?" You say. "Yeah I should be but he's helping Big Bad Strider out now and I am 888% that I do not want to help out with that." She says, returning to her normal self. "Well uhh, call me later or uhh, something and we can hang out." You say, smiling. "Yeah and actually become friends again by starting over." She says, hugging your body tightly. Karkat gives a nod and runs back over to Strider, trying to embarrass him again.
